Hi friends,
I could never say I live a boring life. No way! Although I must say as busy as I may be, I am enjoying every minute of it. I got up at 6:00 am and never stopped until dinner time. Then we went for a walk around the tracking field at the park. So I am going to start slowly and post another card of mine I made in my bunch of 60 cards before leaving on our recent trip.
I also will post some of our pictures of our trip to Hawaii as soon as I am sending this post. It will take a little bit to upload since I have quite a few. Look for Hawaii 2011 on the right hand side of the blog. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking those shots. The blue was bluer than the blue you see on the photos. It was stunning. We went around the Island in half a day but what beautiful scenic areas our eyes were treated with.
So for now here is my card and the recipe:
This card was made using white and two tones of blue card stock. I used the Spellbinders label 21. I had some daisy ribbon that I thought was complimenting the card beautifully. I also used the die cut in white by Marianne. I also had some beautiful perfumed marbled paper made in Thailand where I added the Happy Birthday sentiment. The blue larger label 21 was used to created the faux layer. I was trying to just emboss the label to the stock but I used the wrong plate and ended up cutting through. So I decided to just put it all together anyway and I loved the finished look of it. Another happy accident. I hope I was able to pass some inspiration to you for your next project.
Have a fantastic weekend
