Hi Friends
Geeperz I had no idea it had been 3 days since I shared anything, my apologies. I guess I am one that doesn't see the time pass by me. That's what happens when one is busy busy busy. But it's all good. I am into shopping, getting great deals whenever possible so my days are going by fast.
Also on Sunday here we had the tail end of a thyphoon, my teacher told me, She also added that this had been the worst they had seen in in many decades. It was more than pouring rain it was pouring buckets and the wind was such that if you dared opening any umbrella you were up for a Mary Poppin ride it was windy. The rain was falling sideways so no umbrella would help at all. Water in the streets to about 6 inches so it was going over our shoes. It wasn't a good day to be out there for any reason LOL but we were. We had a full experience to say the least but it has been cloudy since but not raining so that is all good.
Now here are the shares for today. I have a quickie sheet to share with you as well as another card with recipe:
Well, this card was really fun to make. You need only two CS colors
A Sizzix or Cuttlebug embossing folder for the white BG-background may then you will need a mask. If you are new to a mask technique here is how you do this, it get ready because it is easy and so effective. All you need is a piece of CS that has been cut into a shape you like, in this instance it was a pieces of metal I conveniently found in my stash of goodies. I placed it down on the white CS with a little tape to hold it down, then some ink and sponge is needed for the next step. Sponge around and inside of the mask. Then finish the whole piece by gradually sponging the color from the edges toward the mask and only remove the mask when you are happy with the color. I added some metal nails from my stash to finish the middle. Stamped a Birthday Celebration in black. Adhered the piece to a pink mat, the final little touch was to add a ribbon to the bottom of the mat part and the card was done!
I hope you want to give it a try and add your own little quirk to it!
