Quickly saying hello and echoeing on the temperatures we have had here in the passed few days, it has been increasingly hot making it impossible to work in the afternoon even if I wanted to, late afternoon when I looked it was 98F in our garden (near 30C I think). So we work early, to relax a little.
I hope in your part of the world you are finally enjoying some wonderful Summer like temperatures and for those who are starting their Winter, I wish you the one you are comfortable with in Australia where ever you are.
We have purchased more roses this week and one I really like a lot is the Dick Clark hybrid tea. It has no blooms right now but I have a successful one in the back garden I will show you some pictures soon. Spectacular yellow and pink colors, I am having a good year for my roses as the buds are really big and in abundance as well. From time to time I will sneak in a photo of my roses if that's ok with you.
Today the card I am sharing is one I had to keep simple, I know, it's not always easy to keep it that way but sometimes it does look at its best and you will see why.
This card was made with the Memory Box Beautiful Balloon die #98854. I only used 2 colors of cardstock. Blue and white. I made my own clouds to put in the back of the balloons. Used Memento ink with sponge dauber.
SUGGESTIONS: I can see this card made by set of 6 to 12 to give as a gift, writing THANK YOU on each card, with a matching box and a silk ribbon would be so appreciated....just some ideas for you....
Since there is a Hot Air Balloon Festival here every year in Albuquerque, we love our balloons so this is a card that could easily suited for a man's card, a Father's Day card, yet simply a Thank you or Birthday card to someone you know who loves colorful nature.
No new card boxes for me as of yet. Thank you so much for the dozens of comments by email or in here over my Card box I had made recently WOW I was really pleased you didn't want me to stop with this box and instead to continue to make more. I may, time will tell.
We have been focusing on shopping for new furniture as well as getting a new fence put in in the back where the grapevines are. I hope you enjoy today's card.
More to come soon!
Have a fun day, back to my garden I go!
Don't be shy to leave a comment and thank you ever so much for stopping by to see my latest card.
