One question? Who hasn't gotten stuck into the Pinterest web yet LOL?? Well, if I had more time I am sure I would probably manage to open about 15+ pages at once that is when your computer start slowing and playing games of its own on you by the way. So release pages if it happens...It will speed up the opening of items you want to see much faster. If you haven't gotten to venture into Pinterest.com yet, consider yourself warned, but have fun!
Today's card is one I made for a sample. It was a fun one to make and sure liked the look of it, all being that I thought it was a simple card to make, even for beginners, yes, I said even beginners. So here is the card for your eye candy.
This Memory Box Darling Poppies #98879, I decided to add a backing to the skeleton (first trace around the poppy to then fussy cut one behind each poppy and using like a pen glue stick to adhere it in place.
Since I had a sky in the back of it and I didn’t want the flower to get lost in the clouds.
I had the need to add some greenery at the bottom of it since I have poppies growing
here, in my own garden, it is so very lush, more green was called for into my oval frame and I went on adding Impression Obsession DIE140-D (36 flowers cut at once die cut) makes fabulous falowers in a hurry.
Copic marker R29 RED for the center of the white flowers and black Copic marker for the center of the red ones.
The main frame you see in the back (red) is made with the Die cut by “Wild Cut Studio” Floral frame SD004. It comes in two pieces. The Lattice part of the die cuts is missing on this card. I will post another
card later on with the two pieces together.
Hoping you enjoyed today's share. My ovals I used were of Spellbinders, but if you already have staggered ovals in your stash, go right ahead and use them, why buy more?
If you were part of my class back in January when I made the card called "A dozen of roses" this one will be easy to remember how you made it. The sky is on the backing of the same size of the largest oval which is adhered to the frame with foam dots for added dimension.
Have a fun week. Another card to come. Another sample, so come back soon for more eye candy!
Sending a HAPPY smile, it's free!
