Welcome, make yourselves at home in my little blog!
Today I am here to share my next Lily card I made yesterday. I had made quite a few lilies in advance of pink, yellow and others simply just plain! These flowers are so simple to make it's a breeze if I compare them to many others I had done in the passed 6 months. So if you wanted to get a die cut that makes a flowers in no time at all this one is the one. Being that this is a favorite of so many of you, the low cost of this one makes it a perfect excuse to add it to your collection.
With my examples, I will try and show you different ways to make cards with this so appealing flower from nature to paper. So here is the share of the day!
MFT446 Lily die cut is a beautiful die cut as it is letting you make a flat version of the lily or a full 3D flower. Either one are pretty, although I love anything with more dimension I opt more for the flower type that looks real.
The other die cut I used for this card was a Memory Box "Delicate Butterfly Arch #98982" it is a very intricate detailed arch that I had to have. I kept this card as simple as I could to focus on the flower bunch as a focal point on the card.
I used the scor-tape around the card to accentuate the card with glitter. Just apply the double sided adhesive where desired, peel off the covering film and apply glitter. Dust off the excess. I made a double bow with my favorite Seam binding ribbon, added some half pearls to my flowers in the arches....etc...
I hope this set of photos will help you making your own cards. Thank you for dropping in to see what my newest card is and I hope you enjoyed what you saw. Feel free to browse around in different albums as you will find a lot of inspiration from cards that had been shared in the past and some I have posted recently.
Have a wonderful day!
Thank you for all the latest comments and emails
One last share for the day, this is a photo I took this morning on beautiful blooms we are enjoying as well as the hummingbirds in the area.
The BUMBLEBEES that are visiting this climbing beauty are out of this world "GIANT!" I was sitting there having my morning coffee the other day, when I couldn't help but noticing the size of them, Good grief! They look like it will need assistance to fly very soon! Can Bumblebees get overweight? They sure are of a healthy size here. Well fed for sure. I had to laugh when I saw about 3 or 4 and all of them were just as big as the next one...
More lilies to come soon, I have other cards to share until my next lily card....
