Hi Friends
Do I have something great to share with you today. As I had mentioned in another blog Jo Anne had her stamping club meeting last night and brought back the most beautiful cards. She even brought back the first place for her "Inside envelope card making" card. All the cards are going to be identified as I always do so the first name of all the talented ladies will be identified, after this posting of today these same cards will be found in the friends cards album.
Let's start with the Envelope Patterns cards
Sherrie I must say, this is absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!!! Great job. I will have to try this one. This could also be made with washi paper, wow great job! Thanks
Another beautiful card from Sherrie, beautiful butterfly examples that we can draw ideas from. Thank you for letting us share your cards Sherrie. We all appreciate it immensely!
Now Fran also made beautiful cards, I do appreciate all the cards and this paisley pattern is gorgeous. Paisley is very much in with Stampin'Up right now so whenever I see paisley patterns it makes me do a double take! Thanks Fran, great job!
Once again a card from Fran. Great looking flower keeping the Japanese theme to it with the celebrate stamp on the bottom right corner. Great looking card as well. Take care Fran!
The three butterflies in blue card and 3 embossed are from Fran, not Sherrie. I had assumed wrong hee hee. I have a lot of envelopes collected but I was using mine to make Iris folding but this is another approach on how to use your collection of envelopes. Enjoy and hopefully you will draw great ideas from this all.
<------------- This card is from Fran not Sherrie (correction)
Time to show you Jo Anne's cards finishing with her winning card to this contest I mentioned above.
Jo Anne's beach card.......I love the lady and her floater hee hee so darling looking. The envelope pattern was used to make the water and sand on this card, what a clever idea. I have that pattern so now I will know what to use it for. Thank you for the great ideas Jo Anne.
Jo Anne's WINNING card is right here!!!!!!!!
Beautiful Jo Anne. Do you remember your winning card from last year's contest in our Stamp camp classes? Well it reminds me of that card you made and won from. I guess this is a winning combination.
CONGRATULATIONS JO ANNE FOR A JOB WELL DONE!

Then, along with their contest they made cards using the mod podge and napkins technique so I will post these cards as well.
Ann's card is she pasted her card in two pieces her landscape and the bird. Mod Podge comes in different finishes it is a decoupage glue for people who don't have that brand just look for decoupage glue. It comes in matte finish, glossy and correct me if I am wrong but there is one in between semi-gloss. Anyhow depending on the finish look you prefer any of them will look great.
I will prepare a paragraph on how to do this technique and insert it in the Special technique album in the blog.
Now betty's card, a really pretty card I like the blurred flower look it reminds me of the famous artist "Can't think of his name" right now sorry, anyone can help me on the name of that painter. I like this look especially teamed up with red card stock. Very nice work Betty! Thanks for sharing with us.
Janet's card the sample for the class last night. It is such a beautiful card, the flower napkin you used is stunning. The purple and green combination is a winning combination to me. Thank you for the great share Janet :)
Jennifer's Sunflower card is also stunning! I love it. The ragged look of it and the yellow being toned down creates a perfect look, not too much and not too little, I'd say it is right in the middle with the colors on her napkin it is such a beautiful finished card as well.
Jo Anne's Birthday themed card is beautiful, it is hard after looking at all the cards to pick a favorite one, because they all have a different style a Je ne sais quoi to them! I really do appreciate you sharing all the cards from your last night's meeting Jo Anne. Thank you. I am sure the ones who stumble on the blog today will be happy that they did!
What a stunning Birthday card and you are right Jo Anne when you say it gives a rice paper look to the cards when this mod podge technique is used with napkins.
Sherrie's card that looks like a Japanese background it is absolutely beautiful, I could even see some peel offs on this card or a stamped sentiment with staz-on. I loved all the cards posted today. Thank you for everyone's generosity to allow me to post your cards for all of us to see.
My hats off to you all ladies!
