Yippee.  Well we can almost say it is Summer here Whoooooo! Hot!

Well, Phyllis went back to work in her craft room and came up with some beautiful cards for us.  OH Guess what?  Masculine cards are part of it so that means more ideas for you ladies and gents.

Wednesday's shares of 3D cards and SU cards

Hi Friends

Hump day!  What a week it is here not only that we went from not too warm weather to 90F no time to adjust bang LOL here it is Summer LOL.  We'll take it, but we can walk at night instead of earlier in the day since the sun burns our heads too quickly.  I tried wearing a hat but my head gets very hot so it is not comfortable either.  Anyway back to the topic of card sharing. 

Today I am sharing cards from Di, she has sent us another bunch of cards and they are all cards for men!  YIPPEE for masculine ideas.  So here they are for your viewing pleasure.

Monday a Holiday but here are more SU cards

Hi friends

I am pleased to share more Stampin'Up cards for your browsing pleasure.  I hope it will trigger a few ideas the best ideas to me are the ones I get when I look at a card when one item or technique will bring up the look of a fully made card!  But I have to act immediately if I don't want to forget my precious idea.

The first Stampin'Up card to the left is for Jo Anne.  I thought this one was adorable and also popped up the fact that you have that set.  So you go girl!  An idea for your new set.

Oh Friday and a Holiday weekend! Yessssssssss

Hi friends

I am so glad this is what starts our Summer, this Holiday weekend Yippee!  I received more cards that I can share with you.  It is Dora's birthday next week and as usual the gals get together to celebrate the Birthday girl with a lunch and fun!  I miss that!

But Jo Anne was so wonderful, she took pictures of all the cards that were handed out for Dora that day.  They are beautiful.  So I hope you enjoy them as I think there are fantastic ideas in there, please feel free to leave comments in the comment box just below this Friday blog, every comment, suggestion, compliment, is appreciated.

I normally don't do this but this time among a group of cards I fell in love with one card in particular, I am totally impressed with the way the card was made and the material used to make such an Art piece, I have to call it that way!  I will tell you which card after the cards are all in.

This is a card from Gloria it is made with Stampin'Up products, stamp sets and specialty paper.  Very nice work!

Jo Anne another beautiful card to add to your album collection here on the blog.  A beautiful flower that was gold embossed, then colored.  She embellished it with a pell off sticker.  If I am not mistaken, Jo Anne, I think you used your squishy ball for the background scribble?  Did you?  Check the comment box for the answer.

Thank you Jo Anne, she is my official photographer hee hee what a good job she did in taking all of the pictures you see today.  She is a gem!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful card Linda.  It makes me be in the mood for a Birthday party with all the colors I also think that the matting choice in a tag in different angles is adding a lot to this great looking card.  Let's Party!

Phyllis gave us a cute looking dog with a bone clip that is so cute, the paw ribbon is also complimenting this nice card, who ever said simple can't be gorgeous?

Yet another great looking card from Phyllis.  She used the Japanese Quilting technique.  This technique's info is located under Japanese Quilting Technique Album where you can also find free patterns to give it a try too.  It is a whole lot of fun and I must warn you, it is highly addictive.  Phyllis chose to make the 9 squares with embroidery floss in the middle of the squares.  It is stunning when in front of us.  Some cards are not given justice sometimes and she added the cutest cherry blossoms on the right as well as peel offs lines on each side and matted with matching colors for great dimensional effect.

Rose, Hi again!  Thank you for sharing your beautiful card with us.  It is not your first time but it is always very pleasant to see your proud work.  I love that stamp! What company is it from?  Judikins? Just trying to guess.

Anyway, I can see the background is made out of your cuttlebug embossing machine.  What a great background effect, and let's not forget the gorgeous addition of the polka dots purple organza ribbon!  Beauty-ful!

This concludes the Birthday cards that were given to Dora, mine arrived late after lunch that day.  I also have to ask anyone if they have seen or purchased the Penny Black stickers I have an example here for you.  Candy is that the one kind you were talking about? 

Ah ah free publicity for Penny Black's wonderful line of products.  This is one set I purchased a our only scrapbook store close to me last week.  I thought the colors were stunning and worth giving it a try.  When I make a card I will display it.  I am tempted to add little glitter on the flowers and peel offs around the sticker.

I would love your opinion on this particular line of stickers I am listening.

Thursday and bringing more beautiful 3D cards

I am delighted one more time to bring to you more cards from Lorraine.  Most are 3D and there is also a 3D pyramid type card.  I think she did a wonderful job with all of them.  I am so glad to be part of such talented group of friends.  Thank you Lorraine!  So here are her cards for you to enjoy!

Lorraine what wonderful cards you made once again.  It is a real treat for the eyes to see your cards from one time to the next.  If I used the same cards for the second time I apologize, after I changed computers I had to start new folders for all of you sharing ladies and I added cards but forgot to write if it had been posted or not.  So I am not worried because your cards are always a treat even the second time around.

Wednesday shares with Stampin'Up cards

I wish I was a card making machine but I just can't do it all especially when you keep a daily blog going it is a lot of fun work but something gets to hurt or is being left on the back burner in order to find nice things to share and keep this blog interesting for all of you.

I am enjoying all of this.

Tuesday and still very busy and so Happy!

Hi friends!

As promised I said I would post some of my latest cards.  I made these at last!!!!  So today is the day.  I have 2 card ideas for Father's Day.  One is a 3D lighthouse and the other is from chipboard painted with gold acrylic paint and white paint.

I must apologize for the lack of quality of pictures, I broke my fluorescent light that was helping me making clear pictures before I started taking the pictures of them.  So I was totally disappointed to see how poorly they came out.  Next batch should be a lot better.

Anyway why don't I show them to you? now

So these are my cards for Father's day examples.  The three top ones are 3D lighthouses.  The last one for Dad is made out of chipboard as I explained up above.

As you can see, I posted on purpose a lot of similar cards to show how different it can be made and that is when you make 4 or more of the same card that you can easily make them with different sentiments or change a little detail on the card so it looks all but just the same.

These were some of the 76 cards I made last week.  I hope you can get a few ideas from them and make you go card crazy!  Wouldn't that be nice?  I made more cards today but I will wait for a while before posting them.

Lorraine told me she had a few cards coming soon for us to see.  I can't wait!  Welcome back on the Internet Lorraine.  I hope your computer stays free of problems for a good while now.

The other news some of the 3D people might like to read about is, since I have made a lot of cards that were needed I am now free to make more 3D sheets.  I have collected a lot of beautiful flowers (I know some of you love my flower 3D's) and I also have collected some of the Christmas penguins as well as more beautiful classic images.  So in a few days you should start seeing new 3D sheets in the photobucket!  The password hasn't changed so go ahead and check as often as you want to.

I will also post more Only Stampin'Up made cards soon, probably for Wednesday's blog so keep on checking I want to keep this blog making you smile and anxious to see what's next!

Monday another fresh week beginning!

Hi Friends

I received more beautiful cards to share for ideas.  I am so pleased when I get ideas for Father's day or any male occasion throughout the year since manly cards are not easy to find nor ideas for them.  So if you have ideas please share with us.  I still have to make about 10 myself before next week.

In the meantime Jo Anne was generous enough to share some of hers with us.  There are Congratulations, Wedding, Graduation, Recovery and Happy Father's Day cards for your viewing pleasure.  Thank you Jo Anne for your beautiful cards, I must admit I had a good giggle at the recovering cards.  You always have the best funniest cards.  I love to see you using your Stampin'Up stamp sets.  You are making very nice looking cards with them, thank you.

Sunday and we were gone all day!

Hi friends

It appears that we have the luxury of a practice Monsoon season here this year.  Every day at about this time we get flooded torrential rains are falling and the beauty of it is that it brings huge lightnings and thunder with it.  So can you see me jump!  The power goes off before a huge one hits so all has to reboot of course.

We went to the Botanical Gardens today I took about 500 photos they had a garden of roses that I just discovered today.  I know I was kicking myself accompanied with name calling LOL.  But I went crazy in the roses and some other flowers that I wouldn't know how to call them, so I call them pretty!

My handy man of a husband saved us close to $400 yesterday, he fixed my water pump.  Now runs like a new.  I sure do appreciate him and his talents.

I have the pleasure to tell you that Phyllis sent us a bundle of cards to share.  Yippee!  I find them so beautiful and to make it even better there are a few for Father's Day!  So here they are:

As I am sure I mentioned sometime last week I have been busy in my craft room burried under so much paper and tools all around me and on the floor, I was working sloppy this week.  I usually am meticulous to put away some of the things I use to not accumulate clutter but oh well this week the pressure does it.  So I managed to make around 70 cards to send out tomorrow.  All made with Stampin'Up stamps or other products.

I will post a few I make 8 of each kind but none are the same.  I vary the sentiment or add a little something different depending on the theme of the card.  Watch for this next week. Some of my cards at last!  hee hee hee I haven't posted any of my cards in the past at least 3 months.  Hummmmmm, 'bout time! Wouldn't you agree?

Saturday Shares! + Stampin'Up cards and a scrapbook idea

Hi everyone!

Today I can take the time to post some of the cards that were generously sent to me for our viewing pleasure.  We have cards from Diane and some from Jo Anne's stamping club.  We still have some of the 3D cards the ladies made in her class that night.  I didn't want to not show them because the cards are all beautiful.  You will notice some don't have any sentiments on them, as they were work in progress but most of the card was made, I think they are did a great job considering it was their first 3D wouldn't you say?

So I will start with Diane's 3D's

Excellent work Diane, that cute ballet dancer sure got my attention, as for the other ones it is brilliant work and just as pleasant to look at.  The cup of flower can be found on my photobucket of 3D sheets 500 and more 3D sheets to find in there.

Thank you for sharing these with us, allowing me to share with all the group of bloggers coming to visit this page.  I am not the only one to appreciate your work and generosity!

If I was asked to pick a favorite in the bunch I would have a hard time.  Simply because I am a flower gal and since Father's Day is approaching so quickly I love to see cards about that specific theme since we all want ideas for the men in our lives.  I hope they all trigger ideas for you.  I think all the cards are brilliant!  Thank you all for sharing them with us.

Just a few Stampin'Up card ideas for you today!

More ideas for the ones who purchased the 3 flower punch and the set called "looks like Spring"  and the first card's set is called "Just cause I like you"  So I hope you can enjoy them as a trigger to some awesome ideas!!!

As for the rest of the day, I will be busy in my craft room as I have been in the past week to make many cards it had been a long time coming.  Less computer and more creative work is fun!  So do the same and while you are at it make sure you send me your cards so I can share them with everyone here, just know it is appreciated and never taken for granted! 

Most of all it makes me smile BIG because I am sharing with others!  If I can share a smile or a fun idea a day I have done something to embellish someone else's day!  A smile a day keeps the blues away!

Hi Friends

I am so happy and grateful that some of you were able to encourage me with my liquidation of my stash of stamps.  A BIG thank you!

Some cards will be added.  I have some 3D to share from a few people as soon as I get a chance.  I had a not so fun incident that happened today that made me oh so late, plus we have a doctor's appt today so I will add what I can when I can.  My car stalled in the middle of an intersection LOL.  What a hoot it was.  I was on the phone and people were actually asking if I needed water, help, it was amazing!  A woman gave me a bottle of water.  That kept me from dehydrating in the hot sun.  To answer someone's question yes I have a radiator (giggling) in my car (small one) and it was out of green fluids.  So I had to wait for it cool off for a bit and then I started the car again when I saw less traffic I went up the long hill with the pedal to the metal hoping to goodness I wouldn't have to stop hee hee hee.  I made it home with my grocery in the trunk.  That was one time I was happy to not have purchased ice cream! Oh yeah!

I had a few creative days so if I have a chance I will take some pictures to share with you.  I have been slacking off on that lately but in a way it was fun and I was happy to get all the pretty cards we have been able to see from all of you, thank you again.

I can quickly leave you with a few Stampin'Up cards in the meantime.  Have a great Thursday my friends!

Saturday's Second Post

Hi friends

In addition to the announcement of the Stampin'Up sale on May 15th right here on my blog.   These stamps are from my own collection that I had purchased to use for sampling.  At the end of the year I must get rid of a few sets to stay current and prepare for the newer collection coming in July so this is why these sets are reduced at much lower price than in the catalogue.  There is a limited amount of sets, approx 24 sets.  There are a few from the hostess collections and some from the regular catalogue as well as some from the mini catalogues.

I hope you enjoy them.  I try to get some that the style varies considerably, there are some that are simple for the beginner, and some that are advanced.  I also try to show them with the embellishments we sell, to demonstrate the look of it with them.

There are 24 rubberstamp sets for sale.  It is all from Stampin'Up, which I am a demonstrator for.  Each year at this time I put my stamp sets for sale since I have to keep current sets.  There is a great big list of retiring sets at the end of June 2007 to be replaced by I am sure terrific new stamp sets in our new Yearly July Idea book and catalogue.

EXAMPLE OF ORDER:  Stamp set name - Sale price - your phone number and full name. 

U.S. orders will be paid by check and the check should be sent no later than Thursday May 17th.  I will send the orders that same week. 

I will also take the sold sets out as they are sold.  So there might be a slight delay for this to be done.

There will only be shipping charges on your purchases.  It should vary according to the amount of stamp set you purchase. 

For Canadian orders, please convert the Can$ to US of today.  I will confirm to you the same way I will do the other orders if the set is yours or not.  I will need an American Money Order made to my name but this information will be sent if needed.

There is no precise time limit that I will keep them online.  I am thinking as soon as the sets sells or to a maximum of 3 days.  This sale will not be repeated until next year in May 2008.

SECOND BLOG - FRIDAY 3D CARDS sharing

Thursday 3D cards sharing!

Hi Friends!

I was so busy for the past few days I didn't spend more than a few minutes on my computer while hubby was fixing the mess.  I also had other projects to finish up and still on the back burner.  But I am here now and back since hubby fixed the mess.  I am really spoiled with him being so knowledgeable with computers and electronics I guess being an engineer in that business helps LOL.

Well Diane is back from her holidays and sent me some more 3D cards to share.  Thank you Diane I can tell you, you were missed, your talents, shares, and comments were missed.  Here are Diane's cards for your enjoyment!

Diane these are great looking cards thanks for sharing them with us.  The baby carriage to the left is a Pyramid 3D.  I hope you all enjoy her work, I know I do.

I also found a card I had set aside because I had no batteries in my camera and couldn't find my charger for it hee hee well now I am all set and ready for more pictures for a while and here is a gorgeous card from Phyllis!  Enjoy!

When I received this card in the mail I was in awes!

The colors on here are not as great as it is in front of you.  It looks like in the paper it has some patina effect which adds so much to the dimentional overall look.  The metallic flower and string of yarn just completes the card in unisson.  Let's not forget about the matching brads holding the friendship phrase.  Phyllis that is a beauty.

TUESDAY (I AM HAVING COMPUTER PROBLEMS)

Hi friends

I have this wonderful new computer here and I don't know what's got into it but this is the first chance I get to see an internet page so I took that opportunity to write a note.  It doesn't recognize my PSP10 my whole trusty program I work on everyday, how sad :(

When I use my normal email it shuts down on me and I could go on, but I won't bore you any longer.  I am trying to fix it, it won't even let me do a restore LOL, I get an error message as soon as I click on it.  So I am stuck with my problem.

So wish me luck I will try and fix this mess so all can return to some type of normalcy LOL because there is no real definition to the word normal anymore.  Apparently it has changed to "What makes you comfortable to live with" hee hee hee, so that varies from me to you!

Second Post for Monday

Hi friends (What a beautiful Monday it is here)

Don't forget to check the first post of earlier today. 

This one is to expend of a comment in from the comment box.  When I make cards, I always (most of the time) make at least 6 of any card I make.  I stay away from adding a sentiment to all 6 cards though.  I can perhaps write a Happy Birthday on one and keep the rest in a box for future needs.

I also try and keep my cards to be suited for many sentiments so it saves me from having to make one card if especially I have forgotten to send a special one, it will be fast to make and send because all I will have to do is stamp the sentiment needed that day.

Since I have been selling a lot of my cards for the past 5 years, it has shown me a few tricks so I can stay ahead when card order is coming arounf the corner, I usually have 50 of them ready ahead of time if not up to a 100.  So whatever is needed the most at the time of ordering, I finish them according to their needs.  I hope that helps some of you that would like to have a few cards in reserve for your friends and family needs.

Yesterday (Sunday) the wind died down before another storm got here so we timed our walk perfectly.  There was this huge black cloud coming and we went for a long walk in the desert, (we dared this one big time) looking for tarentulas but we were out of luck this time.  Next time I want to make sure I bring my camera with us.  If we see anything I can at least have a picture to show for. hee hee hee

I am pleased to report that I received more cards in my email yesterday so here they are for your viewing pleasure.  Thank you Lorraine for your wonderful cards, all of them are so delightful and cleverly made.  It is always a pleasure to post them. 

I want to say a special thank you to all the ladies whom I know have been using the comment box at the bottom of each daily blog, this is where you will find in tiny letters where to add your comments about what you are seeing here everyday.  Let us know what you think out loud!  It matters and I am sure if there are ideas shared in the comment box we could make good use of them.  Thank you!

I also wanted to suggest that if you have cards posted on the blog here to casually check the comment box because, people are sending you compliments and who doesn't like a compliment or a question of interest about your own cards?  So try and see what's in there if you see a number other than 0 it means there is a comment in the box.  It might happen to be for you! Thanks

Stampin'Up Cards to share

Hi Friends

Happy Sunday!  Here are more Stampin'Up findings for your enjoyment!

   

I hope you can draw some cool ideas from all the cards I posted today.  I know my Stampin'Up customers are always hungry for more cards to see understandably so.

One more line of information.  Keep in mind that my personal sale of stamp sets is coming up soon.  Around mid-May so keep on looking for it.  There will be 1 set of each on what I put here on the blog so first come first serve.  I will receive emails in order of time it came in with an official order.  That will determine who gets the set.  The only extra charge to pay aside from the set is shipping. 

So watch for the sale around the 15th of May, I will try and remove the sets as they are purchased. It is a one day sale possibly extending to 2 days depending on how busy I get.

Saturday shares

I hope you had a fun day!  Here we were not able to go for our Saturday walk.  The wind was so bad that I didn't fall for it this time.  So there was no sand eating today.  They say the winds should die down for Sunday so we might be able to walk a few pleasant miles tomorrow.  I hope so.

TGIF shares!

Hi folks!

Friday, yep, another week gone I feel I am not catching up LOL.  Does that sound familiar to some of you.  My hat's off to those who seem to play tricks with time each day and finish everything that was started that same day.  I must say some few years ago I was one of them, but as we age the years get shorter on us. LOL  Christmas is here every 6 months so a day now is more like 12 hours long.  Oh darn!

Well, guess what? We have more cards from Candy!  More gorgeous cards she sent me yesterday just after I was done with the blog for the day.  But it's ok we still have something nice to see today thanks to her.

Well Candy!  You've done it again!

I must say I absolutely love the Violin look with the fiber paper in the background, wow what a look!  The butterflies are stunning looking I love that blue and the use of the peel offs, very clever choice of colors and embellishments Candy!  I am impressed!

I hope all of you have a nice weekend.  I know here, we will.  We will go for our long walk of the week and this time I hope there will not be any gusty winds so I eat dust again like the two passed Saturdays.  We leave here the weather is decent, but as soon as we have to head back we are facing winds that can push me back because of course we are facing the winds and to make it worst or more difficult we are coming back uphill all the way back.  Nice huh?  Warming up to go and cardio mixed with sand on the way back hee hee.

Thursday, where did this week go?

Hi Friends

Yesterday was a full day for me.  Having so many projects to finish and such I am running around like madness.  But I am having fun.  Plus what makes my day so much more pleasant is to receive your cards to post in here.  Wow I have been so spoiled this week.  Thank you ladies you are the BEST!

For today we have Jo Anne's beautiful B&W (Black & White) theme cards.  We apologize for the pink color we get instead of white but she assured me they are white.  So without making you wait any longer here are Jo Anne's beautiful cards and I will also add one more from Phyllis (A CD card she made)

Jo Anne, what a beautiful assortment of stamps you used on your B&W cards.  It is so nice.  I like the bug guy he sure brings a smile on my face and probably on a lot of us I like the fun looking characters.  Thank you!

 

I am so thankful for all the beautiful cards I have seen this week. 

The last two cards are made with Stampin'Up stamps.  Of course when I saw these I smiled again.  I cannot see enough of Stampin'Up creations.  So ladies and gents enjoy the shares for today and hope some of them have triggered some ideas to make you run to your craft room and make a few cards.

Wednesday's 2ND SHARE OF THE DAY

I have wonderful cards to share.  This is the theme is Black and White cards, look at how nice Phyllis makes it look and gives you the bug in trying them yourself.  I like them all it does make me want to make a few for the coming up Birthday's on my calendar.

Hey Phyllis I can tell you have been having a good time with your Cuttlebug tool for embossing backgrounds on cards.  You sure have gotten the hang of it because all the cards look fabulous.  Funny to think that B&W would not stand out too much, but it does look brilliant.  Thank you for sharing those with us wow she say!  You go girl!

Wednesday "HUMP DAY"

Hi friends!

I had mentioned a few days ago about posting my gardening talents well here it is.  2 pictures of the plants I am growing on my kitchen window sill. 

That was kind of a mistake the pineapple.  I had cut one up and had the charming idea to keep the folliage and sit it in water.  A few weeks later after getting all the rotten leaves one at a time to make sure the water is always clean also hubby noticed a small pineapple growing inside the bunch of leaves.  I thought he was joking as he usually does that to pull my leg but this time it was real.  Then my care for the plant immediately took place in my heart.  I was then wanting to know how far this experience would go.  Well now you see the picture of the final cut product and eaten by now.

As for the Avocado I just started, it is my second one.  I managed to bring one to the height of 4 feet in our California appartment.  I was told I had little chance to make it grow higher than 2 feet high.  Well, LOL here comes the bragging part.........I have a green thumb inside the house.  hee hee hee

So I will keep a close eye on this one since it took about 15 tries to get one started again (Avocado that is) so I guess now is the season to start one anyone.

HOW TO START AVOCADO AT HOME:  Keep the pitt as intact as possible and run under cold water to clear the leftover avocado on it.  Take 3 toothpicks, one small glass container, fill the glass container with water, in a triangle design but keeping the fatter end of the pitt sitting in the water after adding the toothpicks around the pitt in a way that it will hold itself on top of the glass container.

So once you see a root showing after the pitt has cracked open (normal) the root should come out first, wait until it reaches an inch long before pitting it in dirt.  As you can see even in the dirt I left it sticking out a little less than half way out.  At this point when you change the pot again when it is about 10 inches high. You can hide the pitt just barely showing the top.  Trying to not get the pitt too wet so it could rotten is a good thing.  Home EC 101 hee hee

Tuesday's great shares!

Tuesday.  Oh I have a lot of work cut out for me today, this is why I am posting early and I am mostly excited because Candy has made gorgeous cards and she really did a great job with the 3D sheets considering she hasn't worked with this technique for very long.  Her work is beautiful and I thank you Candy!

Again Candy, congrats on this beautiful work and thank you for sharing your cards with us.  A special thanks to Rich for making it possible to show your cards to us.
