That is a few more of my latest cards I made in the first 50 cards.  They were a real thrill to make since I was able to use my OLD Cuttlebug folders LOL.  I can't wait to get the new ones as you will know quickly when I do get them.  I have a few cards on the back burner that I am looking forward to make when the record pace snail mail gets here one day this year.

Mamawrinkle (Lynda) these cards are fabulously cheering me up and I am sure many of you out there will also agree.  As I love flowers so so much I can say that the selection is beautiful!

I was suggested to get a Forum type media so I can so the same I do here but I could have my own mediators to also help me with the management of this group.  The other thing that makes a forum so unique is that you can all chat among yourselves or in private.  Most of you already know that it is like since we met in a forum more than 6 months ago.

I am looking into it at this time.  It is a lot of learning for me.  Considering all the work I already have on my plate it will take a few weeks to get familiar with it.  I already opened one account but this will be a very slow process since I can't be here as long as I wish I could for the beginning of it.  I would love to know what you all think about it.  Your opinion will matter a lot to me.  I don't want to start something of this magnitude to find out that I lost my members in the process.  So please use the comment box to voice your opinion on changing this blog to a forum.

Also please ladies you know who you are and how long it has been since you sent me your last card.  So please it takes just a few minutes to do and you are free for a whole month!

I had said that if I was receiving more Valentine cards I would post them, I am a little late to do so.  I just found the card saved in my bunch to display at last.  Janet B.R. beautiful card is very beautiful in the flesh.  Taking photos with a mirrored colored sheet on a card is tricky as you already know.  But this is what I could get on a best angle without seeing myself in it.

Tuesday's shares a little late but finally here!

I received more beautiful pictures of Valerie's visit to the U.K. with some of you ladies.  I must say Valerie, Lynne and Charlotte sure looks like they are having a good time.  I can't wait to see what pictures she took helself of you gals!  I am sure once she gets to a computer she will send me a few of them to post.  Keep on looking she is going home in a day!

Lynne C. there is nothing in the cards I have posted here that contains any of my cutting machine stuff on them.  No yet LOL.  I am still getting to know my machine.  All I have cut so far are designs that were made by other designers, so I think it is not thrilling at all but it allows us to practice and have a good feel for the machine.  Once I start I will make sure to mention which card is made with my cuttings or others. Thank you for asking though Lynne.

I will try and post your newest cards tomorrow, they are all lovely Lynne wow!  Can't wait to share them with all of you!

Kara is one of our newest members here!  How beautiful is her first card?  So nice!  The flowers look like they are in a bubble!

I like the way she did the background and added the nice ribbon to give some pop up to the overall look of the card, very nicely done Kara and welcome! :)

Saturday stuff!

Hi friends (update on the way I make sheets)

Well here we are in the middle of the weekend!  I have more work to get done and I hope you have enjoyed the new sheets I added yesterday.  I may not have a whole lot of time to make sheets for a few weeks so bare with me, I really do have a lot of work, sheets are the last thing on my mind.  When I start seeing that all my sheets are being used since there is quite a bit in the Easter folder to pick from, then I will consider adding more. 

My photobucket, I think is full of all categories and it should be easy for all of you to pick something you will need for your card needs. I also think that because this is freely shared from the goodness of my heart, I can allow myself to take some time to have fun too. Right? :) 

No special requests will be accepted in March. (no exceptions)

So here are more cards for you all!  I have a few to share today made in my power card making last 50, LOL, I have another 48 to go for the next 50 to make for March.  I hope the stampers will appreciate them.

That was made by me, there seem to be two the same but the sentiment is not.  I hope the stampers out there can appreciate my work LOL

Jean C.  I love your card, you picked one of my 3D flowers and stitched for at least an hour long to make this card so beautiful! I can think of a few ladies smiling while looking at this card right now.  Some others will think I wish I could make cards just like that.  Ladies it is very easy I was told.  It is just time consuming but is all worth every minute you put in to your cards.  Look at this one!  Lovely!

Friday it's here! it's here! Now that's nice!

Hi Friends

Well, the week has gone by way too quickly. As you already know, I am having fun learning how to use my new cutting toy, but, I am still a little nervous cutting as I don't see that making sense considering on how much I like to try stuff.  Well I guess I am nervous about breaking the machine or something along those lines.  But mostly!  I am so totally glad Hubby got it for me.  We took the time to shop for it and see the plus and minuses of all of them on the market.  We chose what suits us the most.  I am so glad, it works like a charm, only I haven't charmed the machine to my liking yet LOL.  As soon as I finish a card with one of my cuttings I will share it with you all.  :)  be patient LOL

As for the cards you are aware I made 50 in the past 2 weeks and about to make another 50 for next month so I can finally post a few cards.  I had major problems with my computer this morning it froze up and lost all the pictures I was working on and unfortunately all my cards were in there.  I could not trace them back at all anywhere.  When I finally came back from my freezes and hard bootings, I looked in the recycle bin too and nothing was in there which is unusual but it is empty now ??? weird.

So here are a few of the cards I could keep because it was already saved glad it wasn't a total loss.

This is what I want to share for now.  It was fun making them and for the ones who were wanting more rubberstamped card ideas, you are about to be served for a few days yet.  I hope you enjoy them! :)

I also wanted to share some of the Valentine's Day cards I have received. I will not insert the purchased ones.

Beginning to the top left we have Alice K.'s card, second is from Dora K. third card is from Jo Anne H., next is Phyllis K. then we have Sue B.'s card with the little penguin blowing heart bubbles (very cute) then we end with Valerie's card with the lovely squigglies!  I had already posted Hildegard's card a week ago in pink with a fancy peel off border I saved her card in the 3D cards the first folder to the right on this page.  If I receive any more I will post it that day.  I treasure all the cards I love looking at them in my craft room!  Thank you ladies for sending them. :)

Lizan shared with us some of her latest cards, saying that she was a little ahead for the Christmas cards hee hee but we can never be too well prepared.  I enjoy all the occasion cards all year round.

Thursday with cards cards and more cards!

Hi Friends

Here we are gee Thursday already.  I was talking about how time flies by too quickly to someone today and she asked me what I was up to.  I told her my schedule and all the interests and projects I have going and she called me NUTS LOL.  I thought the name fit me well.  hee hee hee But I know I try so hard to make it and play superwoman but something has to give.   So when I say I am busy it is to put it mildly, really I kid you not LOL

Well to go back to our main topic which is card sharing, I have some really nice cards again today.  Some are innovative as well as creative with so many talented ladies.  I say thank you to all of you I am so proud to have the opportunity to publish your cards.  So here we go!

Wednesday with a few cards and a special request

Chorley Cake (Angela) well now I am jealous girl!  The new Cuttlebug folders new cards.  Wow beautiful cards I love the white on white effect with gold or silver how elegant!  Simple and such a statement!

Tuesday, is it the weekend yet? hee hee

Hi Friends

I will have to bring a bed into the playroom here LOL I have finally made a few things on the cutting machine that came from the CD they sent with it.  So no merit there.  There are a few things I would want to make but I am still at the learning stage.  Hubby was getting frustrated with me because I never start at the beginning and never read instructions LOL I learn on the go!  So here we were making some intricate designs that requires a lot of measuring and fun fun fun LOL so we made a gate it was supposed to be a pop up card but we took it apart and the pop up never made it LOL.  So we just took the whole card away from the glued sheet that goes into the machine and were left with the gates which can make a gorgeous looking card.  So I am going to make one soon with it! Wish me luck so I can call it a happy mistake :)

As for the cards my friends I have a few for you!

Monday with fun cards as always!

Hi Friends

Here we are at the beginning of a new week.  I am finalizing this bundle of cards to go and then I will have to start on another 50 cards for next month.  Yes hee hee I am busy.  I have to make room also for the new addition beside my computer, which is my monster size cutting machine.  We like it.  It takes a while to get going but it is all worth the wait.  Anything I will do to save cutting anything I don't have to anymore. hee hee 

So as I said yesterday I am a little more slower answering emails and I am afraid it will remain that way for a while.  Something has to give when you have so many projects on the go so emails are on a slower track.  I hope you can all understand but I am still here folks, just slower, or should I blame all of this on age LOL?

Sorry about my email lateness.  I have been away from my computer for record amount of times in the past 4 days.  hee hee it feels funny not to be here longer but I am glad I can make bundles of cards as I let hubby figure out and prepare the cutter for great projects to come.  So for those who are wondering if I am still alive hee hee?  YES I AM!  Will get to you soon.

I am so thrilled we have received our cutting machine one day early.  I will make this Saturday blog short and sweet as hubby is sitting at my computer to install and use the machine and see what it can do. So I am sending you a few cards and will give him back the seat.

Wow Jo Anne what a beautiful Pyramid card you made with such a sweet looking vintage lady!  Great job I know that you haven't made many of the Pyramid cards before so congrats it is a success.  I like the other cards I can see you have used the cuttlebug small folders, very beautiful work on all of them.  Thanks for sharing your cards with all of us. :)

Yet another beautiful Christening card from our friend Di.  I can't beleive the blue in that card.  It is a gorgeous blue hue!  Very nicely done Di thank you so much and good luck with the other ones. 

I think that Nia's photos are gorgeous.  I will have to post them on here tomorrow or Sunday.  My computer is taken by hubby for the cutting machine Friday night and Saturday all day so as soon as I have a chance to resize them I will show you all the newest photos of Di's grand daughter.  She is adorable and beautiful to say the very least!

This Voila stamp set from Stampin'Up I absolutely like there is also another set that goes with it called "Voila to go" it has the chicken, spaghetti plate, coffee mug etc... it is so much fun to think of new ways to make a card with the chef!  Just like preparing a new meal!

I had to add some cuttlebug action and some peel off to finish it off with a bang! hee hee

As for the cards I have a few for today I was in and out all day and ran out of valuable time but it is Valentine's Day so I had to spend the day with hubby naturally.

I made this one yesterday among many others this week but this is the only one I will show today.  I hope you like it.  I made candles then used one of the Birthday small folders, made 3 side by side centered it and cut the outside edges, matted with some specialty paper, added peel off stickers to enhance the edges and the Happy Birthday sticker.  I tried to make the candles so they look realistic by adding a string of yarn at the end of each one.

I am getting so much inspiration with all of your cards goodness I need all the help I can get right now.  I am sitting in a craft room all day long with a mess that is getting bigger by the hour.  Card stock cut left and right changing my mind on color themes and it goes on and on hee hee

I had to say a few no for special requests.  I am very sorry about that I am in a bind with all the cards I have to make, I have procrastinated far too long and now I am paying the price of sitting in my craft room while I am not able to be in the computer room where I do all my sheets.  Sometimes it is to be expected that I cannot do it all.  I am happy to report I am running out of time every day but it is until this weekend, after that I should have a little more time.  Please if you have anything you want me to help you with, I ask that you give me at least a week to two weeks notice.  I have priorities and try to keep them plus my responsibilities as a wife hee hee.  So the longest time you can allow me to have to make something is best.  Thank you for your consideration.

Mid-week cards!

Here we are already in the middle of the week although because I am excited and waiting for my Valentine pressie I am counting the hours I found out that it will get here on Saturday between 8 and 8, so it means we have to stay home all day LOL

I must go back to making cards.  I made a big mess yesterday!  I got a fresh coffee at one point and tripped in one of my cords that are still in the way from moving my craft room around and I dropped a great deal of it all over my work space and ruined a great friend's card which makes me late to send it now.  Gee.  I also had a few more cards that got a few dark drops on them therefore scrapped.  So Half of my day went up in smoke yesterday. 

Then I came to do my blog and the site wouldn't take my photos hee hee what a day!

But I am still so very excited to get my cutting machine to say the least.  We have no tracking for it so it is kinda hard because I want to stay home for when it comes, I have to sign for it so knowing mthe kinda luck I have in this area, I would be out and about when it comes LOL so I am staying put for now but a lot of cards to make so I am sorry if I don't answer your emails as quickly but I am not spending time in here as much when I make cards.

I may add to this later on today.  But for now this is all I will put in.  I have a lot on the go at this time, I want to give myself enough time to get it done.  So ladies I hope you enjoyed the 2 great looking cards so far. 

I am preparing some new space beside my PC to add my new Klik-n-Kut machine coming in soon.  It is like a craft robo but better.  We decided to get the professional model so we don't feel like changing it again in a year or two.  I can't wait to make my own intricate designs for card making!  Will need to practice first.

I may add more of Lynne's cards from her reserve, but it all depends on the time I have on my hands.

I agree Lynne's first cards are already telling how talented she would be evolving into a passion she definitely have to intricate work, she takes her work to another level.  I really do appreciate the work she puts into each and everyone of her cards.  I am pleased to have her here with us to share her passion with all of us.

Janet, Di, Myra, thank you for the compliments!  I manage to read some of the comments from time to time and it is nice to see what you ladies write in there.  That counts for half of the blog to see who is taking the time to leave some cute notes for one another.  I didn't name everyone because I would take the night just trying to remember everyone.  But you know who you all are, so give yourself a tap on the back from me.  I call you my faithful regulars hee hee and I love you for it!

Time to get back to my messy craft room.  I made some changes in there as Hubby made a Rubberstamp Shelving unit for the wall just like what you see at the store.  Made out of wood to match the large armoire he had made for me last year.  I still have to stain and seal it but wow is it every beautiful.  So I made room for it.  It was a long time consuming job, moving my book shelf on the other side of the room having to empty it, wow my back was telling me "Take it easy gal" You ain't a 20 year old chick anymore hee hee hee.  As if I didn't know ah ah.  I must be getting tired my sense of humor is showing through now.

Saturday here we come! Better late than never hee hee

er Hi friends

We had quite the party last night, it was under an hawaiian theme, with dancers, great food, decorations out of this world beautiful it really felt like we were back on the Islands.  It was at a casino too so it was a very nice night for us!

Christmas is here again for me in a form of a Valentine present and late Christmas I am waiting for my Klik-n-Kut machine!!!!  Yep I will be able to get more creative the way I had wanted to be for a while now.  So I will be entering a new world of intricate designs to create for card making world.  Yesss!

Janet B.R. sent us some marvelous looking cards as well!  I love them all!  Her work is always so special to me she is also very meticulous, I kinda like it a lot because I see some of myself in this too.  But it is just one part of making beautiful cards! Thank you Janet! :)

The last cards for today come from Myrax!  I made a cameo in one of my latest sheets in the last addition of sheets last week, Myra printed out the cameo to make a card out of to find out that she had run out of one color which printed it out in purple.  She thought it was looking very nice and made a card out of it.  Pretty clever lady I call that a happy ending to an unfortunate crafting occurence LOL.  Your cards are always so beautiful Myra thank you!

Thursday a quickie!

Hi Friends

I must do this quickly today, I have to find a way to slim down my errands LOL.  It takes me forever to do them.  I don't do line ups I find it a big waste of my time and others.  I seem to always pick the worst line up, where there is always someone who has the worst problem that takes forever to solve hee hee.  Serioulsy I get that kind of luck, why not?  It's not like I have piles of projects to finish LOL

As for the few cards today, here they are!

Mary the stitching, the cat, the overall look of your card is stunning.  Simple is a lot of times much better.  I love it and thank you for sharing it with all of us.  Keep up the good work.

One question out of curiosity? How long does it take you to stitch this pattern?  I want to prepare for the time I can expect to spend using some patterns that I have soon.

Wednesday adding more sheets + cards

Hi Friends

Here we are mid-week trying to make more cards than my head can come up with ideas.  I will start with the new sheets that were added.  I have 31 new ones for you.  Hee hee I see that my sheets are more popular than my cards funny, that will teach me to slack off on cardmaking to make the best of blogs that I can make it. :) 

So anyway here are the folders where I added the 31 sheets and matching backgrounds

As for the sheets I made today some tubes were sent to me from Lynne C and I remade an old sheet for Jo Anne, so Jo Anne check in Valentine for the heart and flower sheet and Lynne check in Valentine and Baby, I made some tatty bears and a RM bedtime sheet.  Enjoy

Wow Janet you are spoiling us silly here!  I love all your cards how creative of you.  The shoe card won my vote hands down hee hee but all of them are so so beautiful.  I loved the envelope card in green with one of my flowers that you shrunk for the top of the card and the background sheet for the envelope that you made without a pattern very nice result Janet.  I love all the hearts as well they are so easy to make and so attractive.  Thank you for all of the shares.  We are spoiled ladies!  Admit it! :)

UPDATE - Added an old sheet remade

I just added in Valentine an old sheet redone from a previous one that was very popular.  Jo Anne made me aware that there was a side of the heart missing so I remade it and made new background sheets with it.  Go in Valentines and thanks to Jo Anne, sorry about the inconvenience :)

Carol S. sent us her latest card, a gorgeous card and explained on how she made it.  Here is her description: 

I actually Printed it out onto Pure White Parchment ,then I embossed an matching Pink Parchment Oval and Decoupaged your 'Horn of Plenty Decoupage' also with Parchment  to place in the centre .

Then I also Printed your Backing Sheet onto the same Pure White Parchment and using the Semi Square Pergamano Too, and embossing tool , I took out the centre oval . Then placed the Floral Oval inside it.
I mounted the whole thing with Pink Pearl Brads .

Beautiful card Carol, I love anything parchment looking since I know how classy it looks like.  Thank you for this share as well Carol :)

Another Monday with beautiful cards

I am so thrilled I seem to be able to make more cards that I actually like when finished.  That is so awesome.  So since I am on a roll I am going to continue to make some for as long as it works for me.  I will share a few cards for today.  I will also add new 3D sheets later on if not on today's blog it will be tomorrow, depending on the time I can spend on here.

Jane what can I say about your cards other than you have an eye for beauty.  I love the stitching part of your card and then you make it even better you add a matching colored decoupage sheet which makes it so pleasant to receive I am sure.  The cat is so so adorable.

Mai made another beautiful card with the popular flower Jo Anne provided for the making of a 3D sheet as well as some tea bag folding which can be found in thetea bag folding folder in the photobucket.  Mai you amaze me with all the ways you can turn a tea bag.  Also turning a square tile into a round one and round to square.  Good for you, it is nice to be able to be versa-tile hee hee

Sunday shares! Fun fun fun

Hi Friends!

Here we go again.  I have been swamped with wonderful cards this week and I am smiling big!  I cannot thank you enough, all of you, to be sharing all your talents with all of us.  Never to be taken for granted the amount of gratitude I have for what makes this blog so popular.  This is not an onld blog it is just a year old and I see it getting bigger and bigger so a big thank you is in order!

So here are the cards for today!

This is the rest of Valerie's collection.  She used paint chips stamped the background with flowers, stars, punches to cut out the stars as well as brads and ribbons to accessorise her cards.  She makes beautiful cards, similar style, different colors which make the cards take a whole different personnality.  Thank you Valerie :)

Emma what is there not to like about your cards?  All of them are as adorable as the next! I love them all.  Pooh and the gang are not my sheets but the Valentine card is one of them.  I can try to make an effort to tell which one is made out of my sheets.  There are people writing and asking me for sheets when some of them are not my sheets.  So I will try to say when it is from my sheets, if I can remember that it is.  I made more than 1000+ sheets so far so forgive me if I can't have them all in memory LOL.  Funny that I can sometimes tell which ones are not.  But I am happy to post all of your cards just as long as you have one of my sheets in them. :)

Saturday more fun cards!

Well I had another interesting day making some Easter cards.  Not very successful but at least my hand made baskets with eggs are done I just need to find what background will suit it best.  What a challenge hee hee.  I hope I will have a few hours to myself today to make the final look of that card.  Fun fun fun!

Friday for FUN stuff

Hi friends,

Another week went by with a lot of work behind me as well as a lot still to be done.  I just don't see the bottom of the basket LOL.  The work keeps coming in and so on. hee hee no I am not bored.  too funny!

As for the cards for today here they are:

Charlotte, it is hard to look at your cards and think you are a beginner.  Your cards are beautiful!  You go from making beautiful cards to only go up from already being up!  So join the club talented lady!

Valerie has made another beautiful collection of cards that are similar but different colors and/or embellishments have been used.  Very clever Valerie.  Paint chip cards, paper napkins with animals, scrap pieces of paper entertwined also very clever.  Thank you Valerie!

Valerie is going to England next week and wanted to know if anyone of you ladies would be interested in meeting my friend of California living in Germany at the moment?  This is a photo of Valerie, you could get together have tea/coffee and share card ideas while having a good time.

Please let me know by sending me an email if you are interested I should find out where exactly she plans on going.  Valerie if you are reading this, can you add where you are planning on stopping in England for the ladies to see if they are close enough to meet with you?  So look into the comment box she will likely tell you where in there later on.

Valerie is a very lovely lady to meet and to have a good fun conversation so please if she comes close to you, don't hesitate to try and meet with her.  She is going I beleive, next week, she could also give you a precise date when she is going that would help.

This is it for today.  Tomorrow I plan on adding the photos of yet another Birthday that was celebrated last Wednesday, this time it was Gloria's Birthday.  I will have her cards to share with all of you.  And certainly more cards I have received lately.
