Monday's beautiful shares!

Hi friends

I had a lovely weekend, a little more relaxing than usual, so I took the time necessary to reply to most of my late emails I had put aside for a while.  If you were one of them you should have an answer now.  It happens, sometimes I get so much to finish, that my emails have to be last on my priority list!  But I eventually reply to all of them.

I cannot wait to get my new glasses!!!!!!!!  I even got some bling bling this time Yep indeed, I dared! hee hee.  Perhaps if I can get my hair to behave I may share a picture at the end of the week or beginning of next week LOL I think they sent the prescription to China and back I never seen taking so long to prepare a new prescription oh well.  I am just anxious no biggie right? hee hee I know I am in a silly mood today.  I guess when I slow down it affects my head, but,  I promise it is not armful to any of you hee hee

Joyce C. your cards are so adorable.  The first two on top are outside and inside of the card, putt putt putt LOL Hilarious!

Your coffey card I found particularly interesting and fun.  I have to share this with everyone. 

Joyce gets together with friends each year and when she found this sheet of the lady sitting on the chair holding her coffee, her last name is COFFEY so she decided to send this card to her friend to let them know in a fun way that "It's time for COFFEE, breakfast or dinner" Clever way to announce yourself Joyce.  Thanks for the fun story! :)

I hope I gave you enough sheets to get you working for a few days with 60 of them.  Lynne I am glad you got to update with the ones you were missing and couldn't get out of the quickies in the past 2 weeks.

Here are the cards for today.  Starting with Cheek's cards

Cheek is so talented!  Thank you for your beautiful cards, always such a beautiful sight when I receive them.  The ships are very nice and excellent for the men in our life.  Gotta love Betty Boop!  She is so adorable with her pooch!  Very good use of BUG folder Cheek! Thank you :)

Di I am so amazed to see all of the beautiful Christening cards you came up with in such a short period of time.  You are certainly resourceful my friend.  I love them all and I am sure the parents and children will appreciate all the work that went into each of them.  I also liked the roses, from a flower lover to another.  To end on a relaxing note we have Miss Nia on vacation LOL.  Nothing is too nice for Miss Nia hee hee she is adorable!

Coralie, Merci!  Thank you for all your beautiful cards I enjoyed the tea bag folding rosette you made on the Betty Boop card. WOW.  Some work you did there, do you remember how many little folds you needed for the rosette? THe bath tub is so beautiful it is unusually charming in every way!

Hi friends!

Another week went wizzing on by again! I hope you haven enjoyed the content of the blog lately with all the wonderful looking cards all of you has been sharing wow I am still stunned by all the creativity I get to see and share every single day!  It is a pleasure for me to come every day and see all the comments, it makes me smile as it is what I usually call my reward for working hard at making it pleasant in here.  Simple set up, easy to read it is always there ready to view for you.  I hope you can all browse easily through the albums of sharing passed.  It is a great bank of ideas and inspiration for all of you so feel free to browse and inspire yourselves!

Referring to Marie's CD card.  This is about how to get the cracked look CD of your own.  Take an old CD you are not going to use anymore.  Take a soup bowl wide enough to accommodate the size of the CD and fill with water to cover the CD and a little more.  Make sure the CD is at the bottom of the bowl not floating on the surface. Place the soup bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds and it should be ready to dry and use.  I microwaved my CD for 45 seconds before I could see enough cracks in the CD.  So try with 30 seconds and see what you have no 2 microwaves are the same so play with the time little at a time.  Hope that helps!

Shttt! Don't tell anyone I am almost done with my very first stitched card.  Now I can tell how long it truly takes for one card LOL. That's it for today ladies.  I have so many cards on the back burner.  If you haven't seen yours yet it is in line to show up, I cannot post them all at once, and I try to keep the order I get them in as well.  Sometimes I will add a card that was on it's own to balance the day so if you see you had sent that card the day before, it was put in to balance off the blog that day.  Your next card may take a week to show so it is the best I can do for now.  Resizing and writing your names on all pictures is time consuming and some days I don't have the luxury to make more than 10 at a time.  There is no complain from yours truly I am happy to get all your work, sometimes it will take longer to see your work displayed because of the loads I get at once.

Great work al of you!  You all make me proud to publish your art work! :)

Monday! More beautiful cards for you

Monday the beginning of another week.  I just finished another batch of 70 cards Phew!  Well now I can try some stitching on my cards.  That should be interesting.  Well since I have much to do I better start displaying your marvelous work ladies!

First left at the top is from Dora, second from Gisela, third from Gloria, 4th Linda, 5th Phyllus, and last Rose.  These are the cards from the crafty ladies they gave each other for Easter.  I left out the one from Jo Anne since I had already posted all her cards last week.

Here we are EASTER!  I hope you are all enjoying a nice one with family and friends or with whatever plans you had made for that day!  It is beautiful and Spring like here so I am hoping that some of you that are still in the Winter like weather it is about to end.

Happy Easter Di.  Thanks for sharing your last bundle of beautiful Easter cards.  I love what you did with the Just for you Egg I sent as a quickie last week.  It makes a really nice one for Mum indeed.  All the cards are all so adorable and will make a lot of people smile!  Ruby Anniversary card is stunning, well done Di.  Thank you for sharing them with all of us. :)

Saturday's and weekend's blogs will be shorter (tiny break for yours truly)

I will display less cards over the weekend as we are planning on getting many things done around the house and possibly go for a day trip to take care of my photography craving and fresh air.  So the cards will come, just not as many at once.  I will also continue to pick up your cards as they come in daily. 

It goes without saying that the email replies will also slow down as well.  Hubby thought I deserved a nice break this weekend so I am in agreement since it is a good idea to refresh and replenish for next week. 

I wish everyone a Happy Easter, fun weekend, if you have signs of Springs in your area enjoy! If Winter is linguering, forget about Spring LOL, hope for Summer hee hee right Janet? :)

Friday my second favorite day of the week is here

Here we are, already hump day!  It is going so fast!  I am sure I am not the only one who feels it is going by so fast that we age every six months LOL.  True, Christmas comes all too fast feeling like that one too is here soon after we are done with it LOL.  Anyway, that's my little humor for the day for you.  ah ah

I finally got around to adding all the latest quickies to the photobucket.

As I explained a few blogs ago I will not forward personal emails with quickies.  I said that I would add them once a week to the photobucket and as usual I am telling you where I add them in which folder so that saves me work and it is there and gone that's the name of the game.  So if you miss it, sorry, you will have to wait until it is in the bucket.  Quickies is the name of the game.  I only post once on blog then I post when I get a chance in the photobucket so you will get them all in the end.

So here are the ones I have posted in the passed 2 weeks, just remember I try my best to save myself some work so I can too enjoy making cards to share with all of you.

I would also like to point out that some of my sheets have also been made by other nice people who also make sheets.  I am so glad they make some too.  Which leaves me to explain one thing about it. 

I will not advertise other sheets than my own.  I accept other cards made out of other people's sheets, that's fine by me, but I will not advertise for them or comment at my expense.  There are groups out there willing to do just that but this is a personal, non profit blog that I cover all expenses alone and the work load as well LOL. 

If a question arises about where the sheet is from, you will have to communicate this by email and decide what you wish to do on your own.

If I see a card that I made the sheet from I will gladly call it my work on my blog.  Because it is on my blog for this soul purpose. If you know you made a sheet with that image good for you, I obviously did one just the same.  I don't make too many rules because I dislike rules myself.  But a long time ago I have accepted that for as many sheets that I make, there are 9 times out of 10 chances that someone else will have seen the same image and think just like me that it would be lovely in 3D.  So if I see a card that I say it is from my sheets, it is because I'm right.  I will not debate on such small stuff. 

My sheets are made differently for a purpose.  I make them so they are simple for partially disabled hands to cut.  As much as I can, I try to keep my sheets with 4 layers and maybe a 5th one being just one tiny piece to finish off the top of the graphic.  I make my sheets keeping in mind that some of us have difficulties cutting intricate designs and it allows them to have fun without taking away the 3D aspect of the design once finished.  I will continue to do so because I am being praised about how I do them as well as the pride I take in the neatness of my work.

That said, I hope you enjoyed all the beautifully created cards for the day.

I hope you are all having a fun weekend.  Had to clean up my craft room whewwwww hee hee it was some mess in there, as I was looking for one item on one side it would push stuff on another side to the floor hee hee it was about time I picked up and put away excess tools, ribbons, papers, punches.  Now is see the table top Whoooohooo!  I can go back and mess it all up again, how fun!

Saturday a short blog, need time off

Since the traffic on the blog is usually less on weekend I am taking today somewhat off. LOL I know it will sound funny but I am posting a few cards only but will add more to the blog for Sunday.  That will allow me to give more time to card making.

This passed week the Crafty ladies decided to hold a luncheon for Gisela before she goes back home to Germany.  Gisela is Hildegard childhood friend who comes to help Hildegard each year for the many CHA's to sell 3D decoupage TBZ sheets and more.  She also has Phyllis to help her for the rest of the shows during the year.  Gisela is a precious friend and equally precious for her companionship. She helps a great deal during her visit each year.  I have met her once, Gisela is a lovely lady and I will add to this that she is a very talented lady as well.

The following cards are the cards she received from the ladies present that day! I will also add that the photographer behind the camera doing quite a great job is Jo Anne.  Thank you Jo Anne :)

Before I post more I just realized that the cards that Jackie S. sent me last weekend are not opening I had saved them as a zip file and I did something wrong because I can't get her cards now.  Please could you send them to me again.  Hoping she will see this message and have her to send it to me again.  I am so sorry, I guess there were so many cards coming in at once that it was bound to happen.  Thank you in advance Jackie!

Jos what a beautiful card I am fond of this little bunny in a pocket.  I love the way you set him up with the striped background it adds dimension to him!

I have to tell you.....each morning when hubby leaves I go wave at him in the front window.  There is always this little bunny eating our shrubs, he is so used to us not paying attention to him when we get out that he just sits there, watches us go by and he goes back to his routine after we are in.  He is the cutest and not made into a card either. hee hee hee

I am so thrilled to once again be able to show you so many beautiful cards on this blog!  This is so much fun.  I will try and finish this one and if I don't I will add more to it when I get up in the morning.  I am running out of energy I have done so much today when I should have done more cards, I am so late I am not too proud right now, at least I am almost up to date with my emails.  That is no easy task!

Thank you for being patient with all the mail I have and my reply to you will eventually come it is work in progress. Let start with the cards shall we?

Darleen oh do I ever like the roses the background you chose is absolutely putting the card on a pedestal!  Gorgeous, of course the other ones are also beautiful tea bag folding is another one of my interests and perhaps one day soon I will attempt a newer fold.

Oh my!  Look at Emma H.'s cards.  Now I had to laugh at the Heineken bottles.  I must say someone had some time on their hands to think of that one.  It is absolutely funny and interesting!  I am trying to think who I would give this card to. hee hee

I also love the hearts it is so beautiful and romantic Emma.  The last one is also very simple and yet very effective as well as attractive I may have to borrow that idea soon!

3 more cards of mine for today.  I made some cowboy boots we can't see the gold and copper shimmer paint I used on the boots.  It is prettier in the flesh wow how disappointing to see on here.  Oh well I know it's cute LOL

Wow another week over!  I love it!  I have done a lot more than I ever thought possible this week.  So here I go patting my back saying "good for you girl!" hee hee

I have more cards to share but before I do so, I had said, I would have an announcement to make on Saturday so here we are.  As you well know if you are here reading my blog you probably have a 3D decoupage obsession going on.  You also probably are here because you love to see the beautiful cards that we all share among all of us.  We don't want that to change, don't we?

Well, ONE CARD MONHTLY people!!!!!!  One a month, just remember what you had agreed upon receiving my password now, boy are we ever so keen when we can't wait to get some free goodies?  But what happens after?  The anticipation dies down and Nicole gets less and less cards to share on her blog, on the other hand, some great members have never stopped delivering, abiding by their promises to give me a card a month, well they do better than one they share relentlessly trying to cover for the slackers.

I am understanding of those who can from time to time be under the weather, family issues, traveling and so on.  I understand that is part of life.  It takes less time to make a card than it takes to choose a sheet for making the card.  ONE card a month ladies.  ONE!!!!!!!!!! and if you like us, you can send away all you want, but one card made out of my sheets?  Is it that much to ask for? In exchange of my work for your pleasure to use (for free)?  Come on?

I can't help feeling a let down by quite a few.  Since the last password was given out I have kept track of who I gave it to and opened up a folder with all of your names on it, then when the cards would come in I would date it so I keep a good record of everything.

I have changed the password.  This time if you have not written in 2 months for any reason and not delivered any cards for the blog.  Please don't write back.  Out of respect for the ones who have never taken for granted my free to use sheets as well as the respect I have for who has been abiding by my easy conditions to get my free sheets, I choose to not give out my password to just anyone anymore.

Now considering how many emails I will get to give out the new password to "condition abiding members", I will ask you to be patient as I am reading my emails twice a day when my schedule allows it.  I wish, I didn't have to do this but I must.  I could easily just shut down my photobucket at any time because I started it mainly for my personal use and some of my real life friends that are precious to me.  Then I expanded because my name got around in the sheet world, forums and groups LOL.....and here we are.......You know who you are and I do too, if you have taken this all for granted!

So folks, I put in a lot of free time to entertain all of you, just from the goodness of my heart, so please be respectful of my easy conditions and respectful of those who are without skipping a beat appreciative of what I offer on a daily basis!

Don't give me a reason to pull the plug on all of it!  I am serious! This is I am hoping the last warning before I pull the plug.  I love this blog and love that it is so positive and want to keep it this way.  You ladies that are commenting and sharing are the VERY BEST!  This blog would have been gone in a heatbeat not having you participating more than your share.  Thank you to all of you!

Myra I am so in love with your cards!  You are so creative.  I love what you used the copper wire mesh sheet with.  The swans are made with the mesh, it just adds so much charm to the whole card.

My 3 cards for today!  The green and black one took me 3 hours to make. A lot of matting going on on that card, I like the stamp that looks like a dandelion's shadow.  I used one of the SU background stamps for the back piece and 3 square brads.  It was a fun one to make I was inspired by another card I had seen on another site.

Another Easter card I used the Swiss dot folder again.  Can you tell It's my favorite hee hee

This passed Monday Hildegard and Gisela (A friend from Germany visiting her right now) invited all the ladies to have a stitchery class as well as to celebrate Alice's Birthday, wow that's what I call a very much fun reunion all the way around!

So I have a few samplers of what they were shown to make for that class. I called all the cards under both names most of them since they were for class.

Ladies I can only imagine how much of a fun class it was.  Just looking at your cards I am sure I would have learned a lot.  Thank you for all the beautiful car example/samples, I will add them to the 3D album (first album of the blog) for future references.

Here we are almost at the end of another week!  Wow is it ever going by fast!

Kathy B. what a beautiful fancy card you made!  Look at the bead work ladies!  Stitching is already much longer to make let alone adding beads to almost every stitch.  Very well done Kathy!  Thank you for sharing with us. :)

Here is my contribution for today.  I made 3 cards with different settings but same theme.  I thought it was too adorable to not make a few!  It looks great in the flesh LOL I suck at taking good pictures lately or was it always hee hee?

The last card was so fun to make.  I used the Swiss dots Bug and added white to each dot (nutty me) it sure did add more dimension to the card as a whole.  I was happy with the 4 cards.

More to come I am on a roll and don't want to stop as long as the ideas are popping up.  Jo Anne, thanks, you know most of the time you knwow how our work areas get cluttered, in such a mess that we can't find anything anymore?  Well when it gets this way for me I find the most interesting combinations of colors right in front of me.  I know it sounds like magic but it almost is.  Thank you I love playing with colors and see what has not been tried before that I have seen!

I know I am wearing it all the time!  OH!  I RECEIVED MY NEW CUTTLEBUG FOLDERS! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS  that's right I got them in the mail today.  It took me a while to get the envelope out of the mailbox it was stuck! hee hee just goes to say, the folders really didn't want to make it here LOL.  It took 2 weeks for an express delivery package to make it here.  It comes from the State next to us hee hee.  I almost fell flat on my tush pulling it out hee hee.

Time to leave and finish more projects for today! :)

These were Valerie's beautiful cards she had made lately.  I know that the green card before the photo is one she made at Sally's!

Glenys has sent us a beautiful Birthday card with some stickers that makes the card pop up I love the color of the stickers it looks pinkish it is hard to say since we all know the colors are sometimes distorted.  But whatever color it looks like from here it is beautiful, first time I see this color.  Thank you Glenys I appreciate you sending me your monthly cards.

Reply for Jo Anne:  The branch card in green it is not a BUG folder it is the first background is from a Stampin'Up stamp then I have cut strips of cardstock in green and white and matted the strips to give it a strap look.  I hope that was the one you wanted to know about.  Wait a few weeks you will see it in the flesh hee hee

Ladies Liz is back from her Birthday trip!  Glad to have you back Liz.  I hope 60 seems to be another young milestone for you!  Getting younger on a trip is my cup of tea! :)

Liz obviously have the new BUG folders! What a tease LOL.  I mean that in a funny and friendly way though.  I have ordered mine over 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting while I got an email telling me it has been shipped 2 days after I ordered all of them.  Mystery!

Liz used 2 folders on her white stylish card, I love it!  Thank you Liz for sharing ideas with the new folders that some of us has trouble getting hee hee.

Sunday's shares

We are having Summer here!  We went for a long hour walk Saturday it was so much fun!

I made cards all day and night and here we are already Sunday good grief!  Where is the time going?  Who steals it from me LOL tell me hee hee.  It goes by so fast it makes my head spin hee hee.

Well here are a few cards for today I am not having a lot of time for this Sunday blog but I should be able to show more on Monday including some of my newest creations.

Cheek as always you make the most beautiful stamped cards as well as some beautiful decoupage cards.  I love your style!

Here some of my newest cards.  THe elephants and the horse are Magenta Stamps that I had the pleasure and satisfaction to color with colored pencils.  I used a blending pen after to blend the colors on the elephants it is made on a mustard color card stock I added peel offs for some zing hee hee :)

Remember ladies to send your cards, I know I may sound like a broken record but I would love not to have to bring this up so often.  I will make it simple, no cards, no blog!

Some have completely disappeared from the face of this earth, some have not sent for about 3 months and I know of some ladies that have been ill and wrote to tell me so I am happy that some care enough to let me know why they are not sharing cards for a while.  My photobucket is taken for granted for some.  Too bad.  Changes are coming so ladies send your ONE card soon!

On a more positive note I hope your weather for some has improved from snow to sunny and warmer, that Spring is in the air for a lot of you.  Enjoy your Sunday!

Saturday, Spring is in the air here! Short sleeve day again woohooo!

Hi friends

I love the weather for the past few days it is quite warm just enough though.  Short sleeve days are here we hope it will stay.  It reached 70F yesterday so we are crossing our fingers for tomorrow!  Fantastic!

We have a few cards to share for today!

Gina I love your cards, even the hunk that I will add to the friends folder for obvious reasons.  hee hee

The shoe is so pretty I can sit here and look at it for minutes admiring the making of it.  Pyramid 3D was very well made.
