Happy Sunday!

Hi Friends

Here we are at the beginning or end of another week!  Well I hope you have enjoyed the 117 sheets and backgrounds I added to bucket yesterday!  "Phew" that was all in 5 days, I couldn't beleive at the end when it said 117 LOL.  Oh well I am sure no one will complain about the number.  I hope that will keep you busy for a few days.  Although most of the time I don't see 1/5 of them made into cards.  Makes me wonder....

Well today I am posting just a few cards as I want to spend some quality time with hubby, we have to go out and have fun so I will let you all play with your new sheets and see what I get from them next week!

I was able to put all the sheets in earlier today so here they are:

They can be found in the following folders:  Flowers, Women, fairies, (frogs (new)), General, Birthday general, Fictional character, Food and Drinks, Sexy, Bears and Butterflies, Valentine/Wedding, Cats and dogs.  Enjoy!

I can't beleive I made this much in 5 days LOL.  A lot has not been seen in quickies!

Myra thank you very much for making a card with the Breast Cancer Rose I gave as a quickie earlier this week.  It is gorgeous!  The vintage ladies are so beautiful!  I always love tags added to a card.  I also have to mention the great use of the Cuttlebug folders!

Phyllis K. sent me more of her beautiful array of cards she made recently.  I love them all.  I see the copper mesh was used on more flower peel off stickers quite impressive.  Of course there was also some Cuttlebug folders used and a very pretty turn out.  TFS :)

I am hoping I will get a few cards to show with the Pink Rose and ribbon for the cancer cure, I made this one in the hope that if you snagged it you will make a few of them to donate.  Please do so, the odds of having someone in our immediate families is bound to have breast cancer so let's always donate toward it whenever we can who knows it may be cured very soon and save more family members who may be diagnosed later on.  We always pray it won't happen, but it can :(

Nia is now 7 months old and so photogenic!  I haven't seen one picture from her that isn't good.  I wanted to share this one with you she is, if you are new to the blog, Di's grand daughter and so proud of her.  I can't blame her, she is so blessed to be able to spoil her whenever she can hee hee hee.  Thank you for the picture Di.

Janet I must say!  As much as I love them 3, I have a favorite!  The envelope with the dogwood flowers, one word, Stunning!  Absolutely gorgeous.  I also like the little peeker of a snowman in the pot!  Very lovely, TFS :)

Thursday's card shares!

I am so pleased, my blog seem to work better than ever!  I feel like jumping around in circles hee hee hee.

Yesterday I was able to make that one special page just for the quickies like I had it before the trouble started.  I hope this will last.  TypePad made huge changes inside the blog so it helps me with what I do everyday, I am hoping one day more saving time options will be added.  Right now I am feeling awesome with the nice speed my pictures are getting uploaded again.

For some unknown reason I just realized I have lost what was supposed to be Wednesday's blog!

If you want to see the cards you will have to go to the photo albums on the right hand side.  I have saved everything in proper folders either in friend folders and/or the ones that have a photo album it will be found in their own albums.  I apologize I really don't know how that happened.

Hi Friends!  I'm back!

We had a nice Sunday.  I didn't spend most of the day away from my PC but I was able to get ahead in some of my projects.  So that was good. Thank you for those who sent me comments on wanting me to have a good day with hubby and we have.

I even had a chance to try the Turkey burger that Oprah was raving about last Friday.  It was sooooooooooooo good!  Yummy I had more than I wanted to make so as a result I have frozen 6 burgers for future uses.  It was a good size burger and soooooo tasty!

UPDATE to PB and Sunday's news

Hi Friends

As promised there were 40 sheets and matching backgrounds added to the PB.  You will find them in the following folders:  Flowers, Angels, Fairies, Music, Women, Bears, Birds, General, Get well.  Enjoy!

Today I will not be posting cards. I have a full schedule ahead of me and will skip one day which a Sunday is always a slow day for visitors on the blog.  You can continue to send me your cards as I will pick them up and group them for Monday's shares.

Our projects are coming along quite nicely, but it is nice to take it easy in some areas as I am sure you won't mind I take a day off from the blog hee hee :) Thank you for your understanding, but I certainly look forward to seeing your creations in my email!

Just as a reminder, please do rename your photos before you send them to me.  You will save me a lot of work and possible mistakes in naming the cards before posting them.  Just right click on the photo, choose rename, type directly into the highlighted text to change, do not forget to add the extension (.JPG) at the end of your filename otherwise it will not work.  Just write your first name and the initial of your last name and what the card is for or a number to change each time you send me a picture of your cards.  Thank you for all of you who has done so in the past 2 weeks.  What a difference it makes and I appreciate your helping me.

Hi Friends

As some of you has written, I will try my best to finish all my sewing projects that I have started back in the Winter.  I have a few done and today I made 4 place mats for the new patio set, I have matching cushions to make, including bias tape to make if any of you sew or have sewn in the past it is time consuming but all worth it.  We are building another PC a super fast one, so that too is time consuming.  So much more is waiting for us to finish so we are going to do our best to finish it all.  I love to say DONE! 

So if I want to say Saturday's blog DONE I better start sharing the beautiful cards I received in the past few days!

TGIF YESSSSSSSSSS! We are on vacation for a week! Still posting!

I am so thrilled we are officially on vacation for a week, we are staying here, we have so much to finish, projects, things to up to date and so on.  I will still post just as long as the blog lets me.

Dear friends!

I would like send a special hello to the two forums on the internet that I enjoy so much.  The Image-nation and Circle of Crafters.  I have met and befriended the nicest people ever!  I am so blessed to know such special ladies to me.  They are generous as they love to share their beautiful cards with all of us that can't find enough time to join forums like these that are providing so much knowledge with card making.  You get the chance to meet people across the globe and share common interests in the crafting world!  I encourage you to join them if you haven't already tried a forum, you will see a new definition of crafting with friends!

As for my goal in having my own blog, it is to share in bundles, cards that will perk your mojo to make more cards because sometimes there isn't anything for us to get a special card for a special person in our life!  Well the reason I do this blog as I was saying is to mainly get you coming to see what's new each day, to perk up the imagination for that special card or just come to see what's here is also a good idea.  Forums are excellent, my blog is also good to save you time for a quick visit and then out you go to make more splendid cards to share back here.  The chain of sharing goes a long way.

Well Folks as you can see I am trying to play catch up with all the cards in reserve.  I am getting there.  Please bare with me as I am getting so many cards (not complaining) but it all takes time to prepare.  So all cards will be posted I just don't know how soon, but it should be this week.

Rose D. this is the rest of her gorgeous cards I received.  The last card is made with acetate and permanent ink, beautiful isn't it?

Then we have the Nestabilities that were used with the Cuttlebug 3rd and 4th card, I have not tried any of those techniques so I couldn't tell precisely how they were made although I think they are brilliant! TFS Rose :)

Janet the two cards are beautiful!  The pansees are a winner in most cases since it is such a popular flower but what makes it stunning it the stitching.  I love the tall card as well, made with one of the quickies of last week! Well done! TFS :)

Isabel thank you for more fabulous looking cards!  The bear cards are beautiful as well as the flower in the same shape.  It is very beautifully different, I love them all!  The fan and Vintage lady is also a treat for the sight!

Thank you ladies for those who followed the instructions in changing the filenames before sending your cards to me.  Wow what a difference it is saving me some time and this way I can't mix up your card from another person's cards because your name is already there. 

I can't say I will be error free LOL oh no!  But the amount of mistake is reduced by at least 75%.  Thank you again for your help and cooperation it is greatly appreciated.

Friday's beautiful cards!

Dear friends!

Here we are at the end of another Spring week!  I hope you had a fun week like mine has been, mainly because I am very busy but having fun in the process.  I get loads of cards each day so if you don't see your card making it for a few days at this point, it is normal.  I can do so many a day.  I have to resize them all to fit the blog as well as adding your name to the card for people to know who made them. 

I am still asking for people to rename their photos before sending them to me.  I need the filenames renamed.  I need your first name and initial of last name.  OR I need your nickname that you are well known by.  It is important as it prevents me from making mistakes on who the cards belong to.  So if you could please do me this big favor it would be appreciated. 

HOW TO RENAME A PHOTO?  Find the photo you need to rename.  Right click on the photo, look on the opened menu you have and locate RENAME usually close to the bottom of the choices.  Click on RENAME, see that your filename is highlighted in dark blue or other color, type directly into the highlighted area YOUR NAME, INITIAL OF LAST NAME or a NICKNAME of yours, DON'T FORGET TO FINISH WITH .JPG (file extension) otherwise your photo will keep the name it was called before and RENAME you thought you did won't work.

Go from i.e. DSCN4456.jpg to Nicole_G_Birthday_Flower35.jpg
