Wednesday's treasures! Happy Birthday Phyllis!

Hi Friends,

Here is another special Birthday that just happened about a week ago.  It was Phyllis's Birthday so I have the pleasure to share the cards she received for that special day while the ladies were all together for her luncheon.  She was also celebrating her 10th year with the Sigma Beta Phi so she also received some more cards from it so I will include these also.

I will be away from PC for a few days, can I please ask to hold your emails until Sunday.  I also have a special request.  Please hold jokes emails as I have so little time to pick up cards and resize them that I find myself having to delete them.  I rather take the time to answer personal emails that are addressed to me, there are many.  So I have to prioritize my time and I choose to keep some time for personal emails.  I know most of your sends are of good intentions but I try to keep the time for the posting of many cards you all send me every day.  I appreciate your understanding in this matter.  Thank you! :)

Hi Friends

TGIF, it is fun to take the weekends off now.  It makes me look forward to have 2 days of for making cards or laundry, ironing, cooking hee hee hee, a woman's work is never done. But it is fun to keep it all organized when I have time to do it all.

Thank you ladies for all this week's shares.  I am happy happy happy!  The cards are all gorgeous from the first to the last, brings a smile each time I receive them knowing that you will enjoy the ideas and inspirations you get from them.

Here are some of the cards I have made lately.  I thought I'd wait long enough after I had shared so many cards that came in after the change of the password.  So here they are:

        Since I was asked on how to make the tulips, I thought I should add the tut here for you to read. The tulip is so easy.  If you have circle punches start by cutting one. With a sponge and ink, just sponge ink up the edge to give it some color and dimension.

Fold the circle in half and with bone folder flatten up your crease so it is crisp looking
From the bottom of the fold, just like if you were making a fan, create two more folds on each side of your fold. Oh and the thinner the paper the better.  Pattern paper can also be used.   I used a stylus to mark lines before I would fold it.  Try to keep the bottom of the flower as narrow as possible.  I hope this helps, making tutorials is not one of my talents hee hee
       You can see in 9 pictures that cards can be made to look different by just changing the color but keeping like in this case the Star for main theme as well as elephants.  I had fun making them.

  The huge star comes from the stickers I had all my stars on.  There was leftover print of the star called outline.  I took my scissors and cut around the outside of that outline so I could get the big hollow star.  So I made complete use of my sticker sheet.  All the hollow stars were made the same way.

Monday

Hi Friends

Monday, I am back!  we had a nice weekend, the football season is almost over.  The Superbowl game is next.  Sunday we were sitting here rooting for our hometown team that finally made it to the semi finals. The Cardinals won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippee they are going to the Superbowl in two weeks.

So I also piled up more cards through out the weekend.  I received another huge bunch making it look like what I posted last week was little in comparison hee hee.  I love it.  So I better stop chatting and start sharing if I ever want to catch up right?

Today is another big busy day for me so I will not comment on all the cards as I am short for time.  But just know that all of the cards on here, no exception, are gorgeous!  I can see the time that went into every one of them and appreciate you took the time to share them with all of us so we get more inspiration for our next cards....Good luck with Valentine's Day cards.  I am starting my Easter cards this week!  Trying to :)

TGIF Yippee the weekend is here and I can't wait LOL.  I was so busy this week I will enjoy my weekend to the fullest. 

I also wanted to say, according to my own POLL, the present that was the most popular for this passed Christmas was "Cutting machines" Craft robo was in the trend!  Second one as "New PC's or Laptops"  Santa was generous and left a lot of crafty ladies happy!

Which brings to mind, I am interested in what you ladies come up with, if you make cards from your cutting machines, any kind, I know I have a Klic-N-Kut and I am happy to share my cards I make with it when I do get around at making cards LOL, but if you are making cards with your machines I will be happy to post them here to share with everyone.  Let's show off what we can make with our new toys!

Thursday's shares on a silver platter

Whewwww this password thing has kept me on my feet hoppin from my craft table to my PC and so on now for 2 days,  I would be lying to say it has not been a lot of work hee hee but I have been pacing myself which is a new thing for me.  I was usually on a "go-go-go" mode which I learned, is not healthy.  Oh that is my resolution for this year, slowing down while relaxing and enjoying what I do.

Wednesday's beautiful shares!

About the new password.  Please be patient as I have a lot of deadlines this week and it was not by choice that I had to change the password, my consolation is that it happened after Christmas phew! I will get to you as soon as I get to my email, the demand is overwhelming as I knew it would be LOL.

One more thing, please do not ask me for the password if you have not kept up with your sharing one card a month, told me you were unable to fulfill your agreement for reasons out of your control or have sent me cards to make up for the months you have been absent.  I really don't like doing this but it only is fair for all the ones who have been faithful to their promises to all of us

Here are more cards for your pleasure to view and get inspired from.  I hope you were able to enjoy the newest sheets as well as yesterday's surprise that I eventually removed.  It will be added to the next UPDATE of my sheets added to the PB for you.  In the meantime I will post more gorgeous cards, since I am short for time today I will keep short comments.  Just know I love them all.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT as of right now!

Hi Friends and newbie friends!

I had to make changes in both my Photobucket passwords today.  Sorry for any inconvenience it may cause until you get the newest password through me, via email. 

In order to get the new password, the following will have been observed as well as the conditions you had agreed upon, when you were kindly given the password for my free sharing of all my sheets. 

1.  If you have shared cards at least one a month since the day you took possession of the password, you can re-apply for the new password;

2. If you have kindly kept in touch with me after telling me that you were experiencing problems with computer, camera or health related issues, travels;  you can re-apply for the new password;

3. If you have been absent for months at a time without news leading me to beleive that you have gotten the password and ran laughing hard, no need to re-apply I will not allow you back in;

4. Please, in the subject of your email when asking for my new password, please enter PASSWORD in capital letters so I can sort them out easily and check your activity folder before I issue the password to you;

5. The same conditions still apply in order for me to give you the new password.  You need to let me know you are still in agreement with them both (Important);

6. Finally, if you are someone who just want to browse my sheets and go, please do not waste my time.  I ask very little in return for having free access to my sheets, so you have to be prepared to give a little back;

You can apply or re-apply at: craftynikky@gmail.com if you are a serious applicant and if you are totally new applying for my password, when you send your PASSWORD tell me you are first time applicant, so I can send you the simple rules.

Tuesday's shares (Will add more cards later in the day)

Hi friends!

I received quite a few card shares while I was away and a lot of them I have yet replied to so, if you haven't heard from me yet is only because I am keeping the cards in order that they originally came in, to my email.  I have a few, thanks for sharing, it is so much fun! 

Valentine's Day cards have started to come in as well as others for general Birthdays and such.  Hoping you enjoyed the latest sheets for Valentine's Day.

Soon I will delete a few albums that have been dormant for about 6 months and more.  I will start adding more albums of the active members that deserve a spot in the limelight for their sharing on a regular basis to all of us.  So I am expecting that by February I should be able to add some of you and all the cards you have shared with us since you became active. 

Yes I keep all the cards in folders on my PC with your names on them :)  My adding albums have no specific rules attached to it.  If I know that you have shared a great deal of cards in a little amount of time you may get an album but not a sure thing.  Just share as you feel comfortable sharing and from time to time look on the right hand side of the blog and see if your name was added to the Albums! 

A BIG apology goes to the ones who have tried to send me a card since we moved.  I do apologize for my mistake.  Please just add to the address my appartment number which I forgot to add since we are used to live in a house I omitted this important detail.  Apt. 1022 to my address and again I apologize as I am blushing while writing this. So Sorry :(

Monday after the Holidays, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Here we are, back to a normal routine.  I hope you all enjoyed your Holidays including the good food, company and I hope Santa was good to all of you as I know you were all so deserving.  Santa thought I would deserve a laptop I was so happy I almost strangled the poor guy from all the hugs and kisses I had for him hee hee

I also wanted to thank all of you who sent me cards in the mail as well as by email.  I thought I was surrounded with love the whole time.  I also read all the comments left by all of you and I wish you ALL the best of years ever!  A big appreciative HUG to all of you

Note:  I will comment on each card when I do have a little more time on my hands like today for instance.  There are days where I am short in time I will not comment as a survival mode I get into so I don't get overwhelmed again.  Thank you for your understanding.
