Hi friends

Today is a busy one for me so I will be brief with my comments I will just say that I love all the shares you ladies are so generous to send to inspire all of us.  We all know we all need a boost in that area from time to time.  It feels like your brain (MOJO) got up and left on vacation and will never return until you see this gorgeous card that you can't get your eyes away from because it makes you smile and think about what you could do for this special person you need to make a card for...don't you all have that kind of a period?  My consolation is, I know I am not alone hee hee.

Monday's beautiful shares + a cute baby sheet + Announcement!

Hi Friends

A new week begins.  I had a chance to get some R&R this weekend so that felt good.  I hope this finds you well.  I hope you will find what you see very inspirational for your next cards. 

Another topic I want to address before I go on with the blog today.  I was approached by some of our wonderful members about a problem they are having when they upload a sheet from my caffeinelady Photobucket.  It turns out, I have spent 2 hours in there Saturday with DH to see that their "Photobucket Bulk Uploader" is not functionning properly.  SO for the newest sheets I will add soon this will not happen again, I will use the old way so problem solved.

The craftynikky (older PB is fine).  I will give you a quick solution for the few sheets that may give you trouble.  If you see no picture on a file you know you have uploaded from my Photobucket, doubleclick on it.  "I know I am using my Paint Shop Pro picture viewer so I never have this type of problem because it is set as a default picture viewer to get thumbnails to show so I can preview before I click on anything". 

But if you are using another Picture Viewer, your image is there, right click on it and ask it to OPEN WITH, the short list will appear, so click on the Picture Viewer you use as a default.  You can also check the bottom of that short list to always open with this Picture Viewer if you wish to make it simpler for future sheets you will upload.  Ok now once you have it open in front of you and you see the sheet, JUST SAVE IT,  close the image and try to go back to it,  you will then see it for good.  The problem will be fixed. Good luck! 

Feel free to copy this short tutorial and share with others you know have had the same issues.

We have fixed the problem on the image viewing.  From now on the newest sheets I will upload you will see them perfectly.  "Phew" a whole day was spent on trying to see where the problem was.  Thank goodness it was all worth it.  So for the pictures you can't see do as I told you above.  If I see some that are not working I will change them but it will be simpler and quicker to leave them as they are now and continue with the fixed way, thank you.

I have something special today accompanying an absolutely adorable baby sheet.  I have asked someone to make a card so I can show the card simultaneously so I will start with that.           

This is a 2 page sheet as you can see.  Now removed but you will be able to get it in PB next time I add sheets to it) I added a frame in the second part so you can use it for something else if you choose to do so.  I hope you will be wanting to make a special baby card with it for someone you know.  Please before you post it anywhere in any forum, think of here since it comes from me.  Now here are the cards I received from Liz C. that graciously accepted to make a few cards with this sheet.

  Thank you Liz for helping me showing how cute a card with this little one look like.  I just love all the details, punches, Cuttlebug, ribbons, pearls, glitter, use of Nesties.  I also was thrilled to see one of the background sheets used on the same layer of paper, that is brilliantly made Liz.

Thursday's shares!

I am hoping that you are all busy cutting and putting together all sorts of new decoupage sheets you found in the passed 2 weeks.  I have more for Easter coming, but I will post them on here as they are done.  It could be 2 a day or 1 or more.  I am not able to tell you right now but it is for you to visit regularly each day and more than once a day when you can.  Who knows what you may be able to find???

All the sheets have at least one matching background under the same name with the word vellum added to it.  All of the newest sheets are on page 1 of any folder.

Friday's beautiful shares!

Hi Friends

Here we are another weekend almost here.  I will be delighted to get some rest since last weekend was mostly spent on the road.  I will also try and post more to the PB with newest sheets and some of the ones I have shared on here the passed 2 weeks.  But as usual if and when I post them I will UPDATE in the title and tell you where I have added the newest sheets.  BTW the newest sheets are always showing on page 1 of any folder unless I added more than a full page in the same category that is.

TUTORIAL on how to make the most of your ink/and save some of it

I was asked why some of my sheets were not printing completely at times.  As I always make my sheets on a 8 1/2 inches X 11 inches the letter size, please make sure that before you print (anything at all in general) that you preview before you print.  That way, you save on ink, because if you were to print it while not being sure if it will print all you want, only finding out after it was printed that some parts are missing....... better to know before hand, you will be saving a lot on ink (just preview first)....

Please find the rest of the tutorial (3 pages + photos).  It is to the right in the albums named: Printing tutorial for 3D cards.  Make sure to read the 3 pages.

Monday's shares

Here we are, starting another week of work, family, creativity and shares.  We were out on the road this weekend to get to a Craft Fair in California, it was fun fun fun.  I found a lot of things I knew I was hoping to get so it was a very fun trip with DH away from home.  We opted to drive back along the Pacific Coast line from Los Angeles to San Diego as well as driving on the edge of the Mexican border until we got home.  Quite the scenery and a spectacular sunset.

Thursday's beauties! Welcome and thanks for looking

Here we are almost at the end of the week.  We are travelling this coming weekend I am sure it will be a fun get away but will be back on time for more cards on Monday!

Here are the beautiful cards for today:

Jo Anne H.  WOW I am so totally impressed here ladies!  You know this card is made for a special person in Jo Anne's life.  This picture was taken at one of the fantastic vintage car Museums in California a few weeks ago.  Jo Anne took the photo and sent me an album of that special day in their family.  I saw the pictures of the cars and decided to give it a try.  I 3D this one you see and this is the final product of her picture and 3D.  I love it.  My impression of it, is that you could just get into this car and drive away.  It looks so so so real.  Thanks Jo Anne :)

      Again Jo Anne I love all of your cards.  The painted ones, stamped ones, Cuttlebug and Nesties ones are alway so beautiful thank you :)
