Here we are, I am adding as many cards as I can you know that my schedule is a little crazy at this time so I have come to my senses and decided to listen to reason and use the time I have to post rather than using up time I had planned elsewhere.  So to keep my sanity or what's left of it, hee hee

Until I get re-organized after my tests are over with and I have more time to reply to all my emails could I just ask for you to still send me cards, that doesn't change what may have to change a little for some, is to try and send just a few lines with your cards as I barely have any time to read all of it.  But I want to make sure I am posting all the cards with the time I have available to me for now. Thank you for understanding, keeping one's sanity is appreciated hee hee

For lack of time today I will let you comment on the cards of today.  Too many appointments and on and on hee hee, I can't keep up so this is what I could do for today.  I am sure you all understand.  Health first. :)

Just as a friendly reminder to answer a question I had recently.  The reason why I try most of the time to make 4 layers on my 3D sheets?  There are 2 reasons I keep in mind while making my sheets: 1. keeping them easy to cut out for the ladies who find cutting a challenge; 2. keeping in mind that most of your/my cards will be mailed out so since the cost is higher of about 17 cents per card, making 4 layers keep the mailing cost lower and I think it still looks as good as if there was 6 layers.

So sometime since some of you (experimented in the 3D image subject), I could easily go to 7 or 8 layers, if I was to follow the layers as I see them, but, because of the above reasons I have to ignore some layers, I am happy to help out and keep it convenient this way.

Another week begins and we are almost at the end of April wow!  Now that was a quickie month wouldn't you say?  Anyhow what I wish for everyone is getting to enjoy some sun as we all need that good Vitamin D for a healthy body so get at least 10 minutes a day and if more get some sun screen.

I have added 2 shapes (circle and oval) stitching patterns in the PB today.  These can be used in so many different ways.  These are not my own designs, I just found them and thought they needed refreshing and add them to the caffeinelady PB and see what you ladies would do with any of them.  Acetate can be used.  Long Stitches can be used as a background that a design can be floating on the thread both sides.  I hope it makes sense to you.  But please, go and play with them and show me what you can do.  This week I want to see along with your normal cards, something that can be said you played outside the box.  Just use them as patterns, each of them have 4 convenient sizes to play with and accommodate your size of card choice.

Saturday + UPDATE ----> more sheets were added to PB (45 + 10)

As promised, there were some more sheets added to the caffeinelady PB, in the following folders:  Fairies, Animals, Baptism (new), Doll, Women, General, Vase, urns, etc (new), Easter, Music.

NEW addition to my Photobucket, Pram has a folder with twisted 3D Pyramids, which is at the top of the folder list. (Easy to find) I just added 10 images as one of them is a card example when finished, which is adorable.  I have had a few requests on where to find some, so ladies your wish came true! Thank you Pram.

Thursday's fun shares! + Stitching tips of the trade! Please come in and enjoy!

Thursday wooooooooooooooooo where did the week go?  Yikes... who's playing with the clocks now? I better hurray and share the cards for today before this day is over and gone.  But the good part about tomorrow means the weekend for me.  I need the rest hee hee it was a busy trying week for me but I made it through. Yippee

Before I go on with the shares of the day I wanted to share a few pointer tips about Stitching on paper.  As I was once a beginner at it and still consider myself being a beginner at it, I have found out that there are two ways to make sure the needle holes after stitching into everyone of them stays as small as possible.

1. You can use the rounded side of a spoon behind your card (the back side of your stitching) go around every hole you have pushing down the mount of paper pushed out from pricking the paper it will close the holes and will reveal a much better looking design, where you will amazingly discover that your work looks 1000 times better! 

2. The other trick is to use the smallest needle but if you are like me, I like to keep it as little as I can still see the threading hole easily without having to use a magnifying glass. Whichever works for you in the end is best!

If you think of other tips for stitching cards as well as using beads please share with us in the comment section.  One can't have enough tips when wanting to perfect a technique.

Here we are at the end of another productive week, I was amazed to see all the participation in the comment box WOW ladies well done!!!!!!!!!!  I loved it.  You give me a lot to read for my first coffee of the day THANK YOU!

Now for the gorgeous cards of the day here they are:

          My little contribution.  The two last cards are colored with prismacolor pencil with the GAMSOL technique.  It is so much fun, easier than anything else I had tried before and adds so much depth to an image, I find.

The two first ones I was trying to make Mother's Day cards and with a heart you can't go wrong I just wanted to use some of the silver embossing powder on one and some silver glittered peel offs to get a different look.  I love that ribbon color. hee hee
