I hope you all had a fun weekend.  Mine was fun, but the weather here is really putting a damper on outside walks or activities it is way too hot and they say we have another month of 100-110F yet again! hee hee

So we stay inside and watch movies, I make cards but we are always busy, so never a boring moment here.

I can see that so many of you have been busy on the cardmaking, so I better get started with the beautiful shares.

  Yorkshire Ann S.  All of your cards are really beautiful.  The stitching, peel off accent, the triangle card, all have a little something special.  One more detail I really like is the Pink Christmas card.  I like to go outside the box for special occasions rather than always staying in the red and green for Christmas or red for Valentine's day for instance.  So well done on that, the risk was worth it, your grandaugter will really love it.  Thank you :)

 To end today I wanted to add a picture of the recent activity just outside of our appartment on Saturday that lasted until mid-afternoon.  We had a sworm of bees hanging in the tree, the management saw it and put some yellow ribbons around the area so the bees wouldn't attack anyone.  We have had a few elderlies being stung by bees lately and it was horrible as they were stung from 100 to 1000 times.  So today they took necessary precautions to avoid another horrible experience. 

After they left I went to see on what they were handing onto, it was the edge of a branch with a leaf, it was amazing to see that they could just hang like this piggybacking one another.  After we took that picture the sworm got bigger, we we decided it was already too warm to go outside again and take newer pictures of it.

I have to ask some of you who are scanning your cards to make sure you line up the card on the right hand side edge, and the bottom as well.  Also make sure that you first preview your picture, then crop to the closest to the card so when you do scan you will not be left with the rest of the scanner as part of your card's picture.  What I will post from now on if they are scanned pictures they have to be straight, not cut anywhere I need a full card.  If you know you are doing it right, this is not for you.  Thank you :)

Friday Yippee!  Oh I love that day!  I get my hubby home for 2 full days lovely!  I love it!

I was laughing when I read the reactions on the stamp store yesterday.  A lot of them were exactly what I had originally thought when Jo Anne had sent me the pictures.  I thought perhaps there was a 3 way mirror to make the store look like there were thousands instead of hundreds which would still be an awful lot hee hee.  Thanks for all the comments.

Tuesday's extra add on. That is a spectacular Rubberstamp Store, wow!

Jo Anne H. was visiting Las Vegas a few weeks ago, she had heard about the Rubberstamp store in town and finally  couldn't resist to temptation.  (no one was hurt in the process) hee hee, anyhow, she asked the owner if she was allowed to take pictures to show her friends.  He agreed to it, so here is some free publicity .  The store name is called "VIVA LAS VEGASTAMPS" http://www.stampo.com/  if you want to browse.  I wonder if the owner knows how many stamps he actually has in his store?

 

I was shaking my head when I saw the choice this store has for rubber stamps wow!

Thursday's beautiful cards.

Hi Friends

The week is almost over.  I can't beleive it.  All of the cards being shared today are very beautiful.  I have been having to take short cuts so I can too, have some play time.  ME time as a few of you calls it.  So dear friends I am listening.  I know it is dear time for me to relax a little and have some fun. 

As for a little update on my testing and visiting so many doctors lately.  My back problems are going to be treated, no need to get into details, but I am told the pain should go away.  I will be able to sit without pain, I will also get a special corset to keep my back straight and some physiotherapy to learn because it will be a way of life for me, to remain clear of painful nerves pinching/disc bulging and sleepless nights as a result.  Some releif in sight for me.  Smiling widely...

Monday's treasures

A new week is upon us.  A lot to share this week.  Someone from the group approached me with a wonderful idea on Sunday and I will try it starting today.  Instead of sending all of you a reply by email to acknowledge the receipt of your cards, I will post your names on here so you will know I have received them, I will post them throughout the following week releasing me of a few hours of replying, letting me have time to make cards.  I think that was a fabulous idea coming from Dos.  Thank you Dos.

I will start posting cards tomorrow.  I have not had a chance to prepare the blog for today as I had a good time with hubby this weekend it was so nice to relax together.

P.S.:  I would like to re-iterate a few details I asked for when you all share your cards for me to display on my blog: 

1.  Please make sure you rename your cards as per my note when I sent you the password.  This eliminates a lot of work for me as I don't have to track back who has made the card or lose them because it had no name in the file name.  I would appreciate your attention on this important detail to me as I am thrilled to share your work and would love to share more of it if all of that was done as you should do it. 

2.  Please continue to honor your one card a month made out of my sheets as well.

If you are still not sure on how to rename your photos please let me know.  I will try and help you.  If you always have done so, please disregard this note on one or both details.

UPDATE --------------------> more sheets were added today (90)

Hi friends

here we are.  I finally was able to add the new sheets and backgrounds to the photobucket.  I had an interesting night having huge problems with this blog that didn't want to save so I lost it all and had to start all over again so please if there is a mistake somewhere, wait until Tuesday to tell me hee hee.  I was really frustrated with this.  So finally here I am with a huge smile posting all the newest sheets for you to choose from.

Here are the folders I have put them in.  Women, Humoristic, Christmas, Sports, Sheets for Nesties, Vintage Stuff (New), Animals, Flowers, Dolls, Music, Fairies, Birthdays all ages, Teens and tweens, Miscellaneous. (90 sheets and matching backgrounds)

Monday's delightful cards

Hi Friends

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I know we have, although when it is fun it means it also goes by quickly and here we are at the beginning of another week full of beautiful shares.  This week I will be out often so I will post the cards I have received and let you comment on them in general or individually as you wish and as time permits you to do so.  For today I was able to do some commenting.  So I hope you will enjoy what I have in store for you all week.

I will have more cards and pictures this week about Rose's Birthday and her cards she received on her 70th Birthday party.  It looks like it was a lot of fun!

  Background was made by taking a square card stock and using a Martha Stewart punch leaving the corner untouched.  Try it you will love the look when done!
