Back again!  Wow it was a fantastic quick trip and the busiest ever.  I did not take any scenic pictures we didn't get a chance since it wasn't on the agenda.  But I will have another chance in a few more months to take pictures and share them with all of you.

I will prepare a few cards as soon as we are back from a convention today.  Just to get going again but will progressively post more because yes, I am taking it easy hee hee

Well I finally had my second procedure, this one wasn't as easy but I am sure tomorrow is another day.  So I am fine and will be better.  Thanks for all the wonderful email of encouragement I have received throughout the week, you mean the world to me.

Monday's beautiful shares

A brand new week ahead and I have yet posted the so many beautiful cards I have received lately.  I have had to spread out the cards as I try to do the blog a few days ahead so I can rest in between so if it takes longer to see your cards it is simply for that reason.  So this week I am doing the same.  I know I have replied to most emails when I received your cards but if I haven't gotten back to you in more than 4 days, just check with me if I have received your cards.  I will be more than happy to check for you.

My back is ok I am doing well.  This week I have another procedure on Thursday and it won't be too soon.  So that's that for my news no need to bore you with details hee hee.

Just a quick update

I had made my blog ahead of time since I was expecting to go for my Thursday's procedure

thank you for all the beautiful comments also.  I just didn't go to that one procedure as they had cancelled me without telling me.  But I am still going to my next one next Thursday.  I just realized I had not updated my blog before it went out to you so I am now doing so.

Although I ended up not going, I am trying to rest with light work I have been wanting to do for so long.  So all is good and having fun.

For today I am sharing a sheet I had made just in case I may be a little under the weather when I had to prepare this blog for Friday which is in Thursday night here a little before midnight.  So the news are I did really well, I was numb so I felt nothing.  It is just now later on at night that I have some pain but nothing too dramatic.  That means I will survive hee hee.  I have 2 more to go next Thursday and the one after.  But I survived my first procedure and happy I know how it goes now.

Tuesday's beautiful shares

Hi Friends

Here we are with a lot of cards being shared to finish the month and more coming in now to start the month of September.  I can just say WOW to all of the ones I have seen so far.  So I will without further due share the cards for today. 

Wonderful work to you all, I am so pleased on how talented you all are.  Everyone who make cards know that we grow in our art from practicing, trials and errors, I see in everyone progress when I think there is a peak in progress, I get yet amazed by what comes before me every day.  Thank you ladies.  You make this blog so much fun to visit on a daily basis.

Here goes:

 Took 2 sizes of nestability circles, sponged inked while the nestie circle shape was still on.  Embossed it and also rubberstamped it still while the shape is still on, with some SU stamps (Boho background set).  Added some peel offs I have colored in pink over gold.  I adhered the ribbons with some glue dots.  Sponged inked the outside edge of the card to bring all the colors together and voila!  Size is 5 inches X 5 inches square. 

 This one was made from a template I modified a little used some SU paper that I knew I had a tone darker so I could sponge ink around every top, sides and bottom for shadow effect.  I printed the inside of a closet, decoupaged some dresses and accessories, SU stamped it.  The trellis I found I had to do the dry embossing with my Scor-pal and matted it with a handmade type paper to add some texture.  I had 2 brads looking like the antique type handles that I adhered to the doors.  Then all I had to do was punch out the "S" shapes you se at the top of the wardrobe,  I punched 3 layers and glued them all together, also sponged inked the "S" shapes before calling it done.
