Here we are with a lot of cards being shared to finish the month and more coming in now to start the month of September. I can just say WOW to all of the ones I have seen so far. So I will without further due share the cards for today.
Wonderful work to you all, I am so pleased on how talented you all are. Everyone who make cards know that we grow in our art from practicing, trials and errors, I see in everyone progress when I think there is a peak in progress, I get yet amazed by what comes before me every day. Thank you ladies. You make this blog so much fun to visit on a daily basis.
Here goes:
Took 2 sizes of nestability circles, sponged inked while the nestie circle shape was still on. Embossed it and also rubberstamped it still while the shape is still on, with some SU stamps (Boho background set). Added some peel offs I have colored in pink over gold. I adhered the ribbons with some glue dots. Sponged inked the outside edge of the card to bring all the colors together and voila! Size is 5 inches X 5 inches square.
This one was made from a template I modified a little used some SU paper that I knew I had a tone darker so I could sponge ink around every top, sides and bottom for shadow effect. I printed the inside of a closet, decoupaged some dresses and accessories, SU stamped it. The trellis I found I had to do the dry embossing with my Scor-pal and matted it with a handmade type paper to add some texture. I had 2 brads looking like the antique type handles that I adhered to the doors. Then all I had to do was punch out the "S" shapes you se at the top of the wardrobe, I punched 3 layers and glued them all together, also sponged inked the "S" shapes before calling it done.
