Hi Friends
It is almost the end of the week already and half of what I wanted to do has been done. I must tell you I stay so impressed with all of your card sharing this month. You have sent me quite a few. So if you don't see your card making it quickly it is because I am trying to keep up with you all. No complaints from me, I will get to them I am working my way from the oldest to the most recent so, keep on checking it will make it. I am working on March the 15th onward in the card postings, that is when it started to get really busy and so was I. hee hee but I am loving it!
For the time being here are more fabulous looking cards to enjoy and get inspired from:
Deb F shared her beautiful baby card with a nice description:
This is a Page Maps (http://www.pagemaps.com/) inspired card. I stamped the bubble background on a light blue piece of cardstock using Versamark ink and a Hero Arts Jubilee Big 'N Little Rubber stamp. I attached it to the card, then used my Wishblade to create the scalloped yellow strip running down the center. It was embossed with the Swiss Dots CB folder before I put it on the card. The green plaid oval is a printable from Scrapbook Scrapbook (http://www.scrapbookscrapbook.com/) also cut with my Wishblade and inked around the edge with a dark brown Color Box Cat's Eye chalk ink. The giraffe is from Inkadinkado and stamped on plain white cardstock with Jet Black StazOn ink, colored with colored pencils and, again, cut out in a scalloped oval shape on my Wishblade. The white oval edges were chalked light blue and stacked on top of the plaid oval which was then attached over the scalloped strip. I threaded glossy (Marlitt) DMC floss through the holes in four small orange buttons and attached them with mini glue dots above and below the oval. Ta da! A baby shower card for my stash!
Anne G. shared her lovely Easter card with us:
He is just a little rubber stamped chick, coloured with pencil and a waterbrush used and backed with nestabilities. The ribbon strip is set on a strip cut with Martha Stewart punches.
Eunice B. sent her beautiful card and description:
This card is a basic decoupage card made for one of my grandchildren, (I have eight so I am kept busy). The rabbit decoupage is Nikky's, so thank you very much
Bev K shared her beautiful cards one for January and one for now:
The gladioli has Stitching from Hobby journal and I've mounted it on embossed pearly paper with corners rounded.
The Pansy card is teemed with a Lacy border using a new Template which I love threaded with purple ribbon. I used fancy scissors on bottom
Sorry I was late sending these out to you. I got lost in some pergamano technique all night and when I was getting close to the end it was bedtime I could barely see my card anymore. End results, I would not dare showing it on here, until I get it the way I want it to look. So this is why I was late sharing cards. My apologies to all.
Nicole :)
