Hi Friends
I had a quick chance into making a 3D sheet yes I know, a long long time coming. But here it is grab it while it is there!
YOU CAME TOO LATE FOR THE GRAB - Sorry
Next blog will have more of your beautiful cards. But here are a few more for you today! Thank you for your patience. The weather is still improving here, it is that time of the year when we can't decide what to wear because the day starts off cooler then as it progesses it gets hot to eventually get much cooler after the sun has set for the night. They say we usually have long Spring time here when Summer doesn't really kick in until sometime in June. I was also told that snow was seen a few times in May.
Yes replying to a comment I have received, yes it takes much longer to post cards and comments but I rather post both than just cards. This way no one has to ask any questions that may not be answered so posting info is very productive for the ones that want to try their hand at different techniques/templates out there. In my opinion it is fantastic, you are all doing a great job.
So enough chit chat here are the beautiful cards shared with us:
Sandra K. my card is made with Paper Nation decoupage and papers,
I've used an a5 size card and printed my sentiment to the right hand side,
I then cut a piece of backing paper which I embossed a wavey line on and cut at an angle, then I decoupaged the couple and baby placed them to the left of the sentiment and just over the paper and finished off with peel off corners and borders,
quite a quick and easy card to do.
Alice H. has sent the recipe for her beautiful card:
I am attaching my March card and the How To is as follows:
Recipe: Art Deco découpage from Nikky
1 A4 sheet of white cardstock and 1 sheet of A5 white cardstock
1 sheet of A5 Handmade Paper
Spellbinder's Lattice Borderabilities and Fancy Tags
Blue sick-on jewels and silver beads
What I did: This another Easel card, A5 in size - my all time favourite at the moment. I covered the main panel with the handmade paper which has a silver leaf embroidered design. I punched the corners of the main image, layered it onto a slightly larger piece of white card and attached the blue jewels to each corner. I attached the Lattice border to one side. I also used the waste from the dies to create the corner and embellished all with little silver beads.
I embellished the lady's gown and the fireworks with glitter. The sentiment was computer generated and punched out with a Fancy Tag which was then layered onto another Fancy Tag and again embellished with little beads.
Cariad Anne O. shared such a beautiful card too:
I made this card in February for my grandaughter's birthday in August. It has been a long time since I have stamped and coloured images and enjoyed doing this card so much that I am going to be doing more. Following is the description of what I used to create the card.
The image is a stamp entitled "Violet" from Stamps Happen Inc. I coloured it using General's Kimberley Watercolor pencils. The image was then cut and mounted using dies from Spellbinders Nestabilities "Curved Rectangles". The bow was created using ribbon by Offray.
Mary G. shared one of her beautiful cards with us:
It is one of your sheets with stitching, I made for my granddaughter. I call it Bunny Love
and I call it beautiful, thanks Mary
Thank you for visiting, commenting and leaving your cards with me for showing them off to all of you.
Come back soon as I am trying to get back into making more sheets but there is no telling how many a week but I will try what I can with the little time I have. Sorry I missed making Easter sheets this year but I can see there are a lot of us making sheets now so I am sure you were well taken care of during my slacking period LOL
Have a great day!
Nicole :)
