Hi Friends
Here are some more beautiful cards I have received a few weeks ago. I am getting there, so I would estimate that by next Friday June 25th you will be able to start sending your cards again. No rush since I don't want to be bombarded hee hee. Monday, Wednesday and Friday's you can send them to me. But next week only. Thank you.
The first card is from Joyce, it is so beautiful I really like the subtle colors and such a perfect card for someone you hope will get better soon.
this card I made up was just perfect for my friend who is feeling under the weather...looks great in real life the colours are so delicate. I used one of your sheets Nikky.
Diane M. sent us her beautiful card with a short description, (Well done Diane)
I am sure your card was deeply appreciated.
I made this card with a sheet from you, decoupaged, silver words etc.
I made for my ex hubbys little boy.
Your next card to enjoy is from Angela (Chorley Cake) I just love the Mo Manning digi stamps, well done Angela love the colors you used. (Awesome job on this one as well Angela)
A Mo Manning digital sketch called " Patience "
I coloured in the image using Copics, the backing papers are
" Forever Friends Xmas Pack "
A few ready made sunflowers, a navy satin ribbon & a digital greeting personalised completes this easel style card.
Anne H. sent us a beautiful butterfly card with a template with the description (Well done I love it Anne)Thank you for the template also.
Here is my card for June and the template that goes with it.
I used a white card blank (A4 folded) and layered white card oblongs onto deckle edge coloured oblongs.
Stamped a flourish on the one white layer. Cut the butterflies from matching card and pretty paper and layered with foam pads. Added pearls, a greeting and some punched butterflies.
Bev K. sent us a beautuful card she made with instructions. If this is a repeat that will show you how busy I have been posting cards hee hee. If it is a repeat please forgive me. But it is so beautiful it is ok to repeat if it is the case.
I love this Image of Mariannes and as a friend is being married for 2nd time I thought it just right for her.
It was for a challenge that had to have a ribbon and a bow so it has those and rhinestones.I used 2 different vintage background papers from Marianne design and my stitching stencil(my favourite) is also by Marianne.I had a MArianne design filed day didn't I.The card is Bazill bling.
Janet Kay sent us her beautiful card, it is another lovely treat for the eyes. Thank you and well done!
For this card, the first thing I did was take a double sided piece of cardstock (Circut paper) and cut a shape where I wanted it to be. Then I folded down the corner, and the shape extended into the dark purple.
I mounted Nikky's image on green and then on the light purple. I outlined the corner with white hologram lines. I cut out my Lace' line, and backed it with hologram paper. I added the words in silver and also some "diamond" gems.
I added a white insert inside, cut on an angle so you don't see it, but you could add another color if you like.
Suz from Hawaii had sent me a card through the mail but since it is hard to get mail here (a sore subject) hee hee she had to send it by email to me so I could finally appreciate her work and what I had missed. So without a description of her card from Suz. I can say that it is a 3D sheet (Correct me if I'm wrong) of mine and she added a beautiful tea fold to the card. The ribbon and matching background sheet sure makes this card worthy of receiving and cherish. Thanks Suz!
If you know you have sent me an email with a card to share lately and you have yet seen it on the blog can you please verify with me that I have received it. I was on vacation and I had left a message on my email to say so but I am not sure if that prevented the emails to come in with inserts. But to be on the safe side please check with me here
Thank you everyone for spending the time to visit my blog and leaving some thoughtful comments. I know of no one not appreciating compliments on their work so I am happy you are expressing such love for your peers crafters. You are loved Purple Pauline (smiles)
If any repeats it's ok, all cards are worth seeing at least twice :)
Nicole :)
