Hi Friends
How are you today?
I should let you know what has kept me from making cards lately and it was all fun. I have been learning how to make some sourdough bread in addition to my always baking a loaf of wholewheat bread a week for our breakfasts. I have tried a few different ways to cook chicken wings, on a smokefree electric BBQ. Baked a cake and muffins. Since we had the pleasure to purchased a new set of pots and pans (5 ply stainless steel) it has given me more inspiration to try cooking different things while we are here. So it has been a great experience. I have a convection bread maker, but lately I have gotten bored to just let it do it's thing without any envolvement on my part outside of putting all the ingredients into it to start the breadmaking process.
A couple of times now I have interrupted the cycle to instead form a loaf that would fit in my loaf mold. It is so much fun to put it in the oven myself and watch the top change color to become golden brown it feels more rewarding! Here is a photo of my latest one. Have I made you hungry yet? A far cry from posting my cards wouldn't say? hee hee. But I had a great time and will soon again. Don't it make you wish it was a scratch and sniff photo? hee hee

We had some sunshine for a change. We are lucky we are not in the highly flooded areas. I can't possibly imagine how unsettling it can be to live in an area that suddenly looks like a lake. Mother nature sure has a lot of surprises in store at times. It was refreshing to see the sun last night and this morning. I had to go out and enjoy some of it for a while. It is still hot and sticky but at least now the sun is so appreciated and everything around us is lush green, it is amazing! It is also made me jump at the thought that it is almost mid-August already and Summer is almost near the end. Travelling plans are near for us as well. So that being said I am really trying to set aside a lot of other things for now and start making cards as I am running late as I prefer to be ahead of schedule not the other way around.
So here is another quickie sheet for you. I hope you can make some use of it in the near future. Enjoy!
Have a great day! Thanks for all the fun comments on the sheets and my loaf of bread.
Nicole :)
