Hi Friends
I hope everyone is getting into the festive mood of the Holidays coming up soon. At the pace it is going Christmas will be here before we know it. I know I feel that way. So much to do, so little time. I wish there were really 30 hours in one day LOL. Some of you might say I am nuts, and it is a fair assumption. But based on my days, I can't seem to do everything I need to do in one day no matter early I get up to start it all. As a result I always feel I am late....Go figure! I'm a fun nuts though, really!
You'll see what I mean when you see the pictures I have for you today. Yes I have your quickie as usual but I also have some of my yesterday's baking. Warning, if you haven't eaten yet, go do so before you scroll down LOL. If you are on a diet, do not proceed...it might trigger some pizza cravings....hee hee
So here are the photos for today and I also am posting a card I made!!!!!!!!! Yes! Finally they are thinking!!!!!
About time don't you think?
I will start with the card with a brief description and the how to.
This card was fun to make. If you are a cardmaker that enjoys simple, this is it!
I decided how much of my shimmering paper I wanted to the left of the card, cut the piece and adhered to the card. Then I cut cream colored cardstock to size (bigger because of the border punch which always removes 1/4 inch off of the length of your piece you are working on). I started my cutting the border from the center since it is a small narrow piece. Then always turning the punch cutter facing me, I finished cutting the rest of the border.
With Versamark and gold embossing powder I stamped and embossed with gold and adhered my second piece to my card. I added my little pearls to the corner.
Ribbon with sparkles in it, pearls (3), Martha Stewart border punch, rubberstamp, buckle, shimmering paper cream cardstock, and gold embossing powder, Versamark, envelope. I picked the sparkliest ribbon I had with me and cut a piece to the width of my card plus extra on each side to overlap inside the card. But first I slid the buckle into the ribbon made sure it was put into place with a glue dot. Wrapped and adhered the ribbon, added a card insert.
Envelope I just played with my embossing and decided to stamp my stamp at the top of the envelope but just half the stamp is seen and did the same at the very bottom of the envelope, to simulate, repetitive printing, but off mark. Just to have fun with it.
I could have done the same with the printing on the envelope, instead of top and bottom, side to side would also be looking great, but I didn't want to interfere with the postage stamp spot.

Now for the cooking/baking section here are the photos I took to tease you:
This pizza was a pepperoni, mushroom, tomato, red bell pepper and jalepeno peppers and cheese. Pizza dough took about 3 hours to prepare, that includes the two rising periods.

The following is your Quickie sheet for today:
Plenty for you to read today and enjoy. I had fun preparing today as I had lots of goodies to show you. I plan on doing the same tomorrow perhaps minus the cooking part. I am still busy making a lot of cards. The ones I see fit to post on here will be posted. The ones that I call "not to my liking will still be called work in progress" I have a lot of them hee hee. But I also call them my warm up cards.
I hope there is enough here for all of you and will be back tomorrow with more goodies.
Have a fun day! I am enjoying every quick minutes of my day!
Nicole :)
