More good news my friends

Hi Friends

Well Brenda once again came through with some great results and now I know where I was making it NOT work. So Brenda Kudos to you my friend.  I cannot express how so very thankful I am to you to offer the help when I needed it the most.  It just takes time and good wits and you had both when it was really needed.  Thank you!

On the other hand what I need you all to know is that craftynikky bucket is fixed.  But when you get in it tells you there are no photos in this album, don't pay attention to that.  Just scroll down and look to the right for the link called My work in 3dee click on it and it will open up all of the folders for you to start exploring.  There are more than 4,500 sheets in craftynikky and more than 2,000 sheets in caffeinalady so there is plenty to entertain you for all occasions.  But I am still going to post a new sheet shortly, the time is not there for me today so tomorrow will be best for this to happen but for the time being enjoy the newly fixed photobuckets.

Hi friends.....please read below I have some good news!

Hi Friends,

Here are the news.  I will not drag this happy news because to me it means the world and a huge headache has been removed, Brenda found what was wrong on the caffeinelady bucket and fixed it all last night!  Now you will only use one password which is the one I gave you last. It will always be the one you use to open folders.  So go and play!  Enjoy!

BRENDA my friend, I am so thankful and so happy.  I hope you will join me all to tell her how much we appreciate her efforts in fixing it where I had no time to sit and sort through everything.  She managed to find a solution in her sleep and it was the right one.  Not bad at all for someone who has only been owning a computer for 4 years now! 

If she decides to do craftynikky, I will be thrilled to have them both redone and working properly.  Oh I wish I could send you a thank you card right now my friend.  But I know it wouldn't make it out of the country by experience I have learned to not receive and send cards unless it is registered.

Well this is the wonderful news of the day and here is a new quickie sheet to celebrate the good news:

This is one of the Vintage images I was talking about a while back that I would start Decoupaging.  I hope you like it.  There are a few and all have a little something nice about them.  More to come in the future.

I hope you enjoyed your weekend, here we had about 4 inches of snow surprise and woke up to see a snowy sky on Sunday morning.  So bye bye our Spring like days for a few days because it everything but 50F here now hee hee.  I hope your sun is out today, and your heart is happy like mine is.

 

 

Hi friends another quickie sheet for you today

Here we are another week is over for us beeing Friday here.  That was a busy and fast going one and learned that there is another practice Saturday this one I wasn't anticipating at all as I had pushed so much to the weekend to be able to try and catch up so we will see if I can do it.  And I know I need practice oh do I... hee hee

We are also planning a multiple leg trip soon so that adds to the builk of my existing bulk of work, although it is fun because it's a different country and few places we always wanted to go.  I just hope I can cope with the heat.  So on that fun topic I am still practicing my Chinese Dance with two shows coming soon.  Wish me luck I need it. hee hee

More about the photobuckets, I have someone that will start filling up a new bucket account as I gave her plenty of time and no time limit to do it and she is anxious to start.  I will say it is Brenda that is working on it for me and all of us.  So please dear friends, hang in there as this is work in progress as I never anticipated that photobucket would make it so difficult to view some of my sheets, in a time when I have so very casual time to sit here and redo it all.  So I was encouraged by emails from you to tell me that you are ready to wait to get it fixed for I hope, a long time to come.  So hang in there please.  It is no doing of my own but I have such wonderful help in the matter I will so thankful once it is all done.  Thank you Brenda.

Another fun busy day ahead of me so I better run, but I want to wish you all a wonderful weekend!  I was seeing snow in the forecast all week for Saturday, then Sunday but today it mentions nothing about snow anymore for the next 2 days hee hee.  So we are still enjoying the sunshine and warmer weather and hope it continues.  Hoping you have the sun shining in and out as well.

I still can't beleive I am doing this, but, since last Friday I have started some dance lessons.  It is light exercise and boy are we ever laughing there.  But learning the Chinese dance is fun and different.  We are supposed to give 2 shows to the public next week so yes I am a little intimidated since I am not getting all the moves right yet, but thankfully we have another 3 more days to practice to get it right.  If I get any pictures of it I will share it with you.

I have been busy all week and time is just flying by too quickly.  Another trip is in the near future, so it is more fun to look forward to ahead of us.

In the meantime I am so thrilled to share more quicky sheets with you.  So I hope you make every single day a Great day!

I have been able to prepare more sheets for the blog this week, I have a very busy week ahead with a lot of fun ahead.  The weather here has been so beautiful it is hard to believe it is Winter.  It is not so cold and makes it comfortable to walk outside when there is a bright and sunny day.  It has been about 4 days with this type of weather so I am hoping it will continue hee hee.  Hoping you are having at least a little sunshine where you are.

On this beautiful Tuesday, very cold, but sunny! Here is a card I made + Quickie

Hi Friends

I hope you are all having a Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Mine was yesterday mostly a day ahead of you if you are not in Australia and NZ or China.

But before I lose track of my recipe for my wonderful husband's card I will share it today:

 

This is the Recipe:

I picked a red card stock (SU) white also (SU).  Black card stock (GKD).  Ribbon from my China stash.  Spellbinders shapes, square and scallop.  Gina K Designs Stamp set called Hopeful Hearts.  Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Real Red (SU) and Tim Holtz Distress ink Worn Lipstick, a sponge dabber, Cuttlebug paisley pattern, (SU) Impression Square Lattice, and stickles

I started with my white card stock measuring a little less than the card itself, ran it into the Cuttlebug machine and then used my sponge dabber into the real red ink pad and slowly in rolling motions outside the card working your way in, applied some ink to the embossed motifs giving more accent to those rather than the background.  Added my ribbon then added the paisley to the card itself.  Next step was to make the center piece standout from the rest.  I stamped my GKD image with Black on white card stock, then used the other heart with a swirl in it to add on top of the one already stamped.  The square stamped piece, I ran into the Cuttlebug machine with the (SU) Impression Square Lattice to create the effect you see.  Added stickles to the edges of the square as well as the added heart that was already run through the Cuttlebug with the same pattern. I then matted my stamped image with GKD black stock cut a square with Spellbinders square and then used the same red card stock (SU) of my card Spellbinder square scallop, ran it through the Cuttlebug, adhered every layer as you see in the image and voila!  Time for making it: 1 hour.

Thursday's Blog with a quickie

What a quickie week it is turning out to be.  Everything is opening today here as I am really needing produce and the market is finally opening.  What a joy!  I have to get more errands done today and a language class tonight.  So this is why I prepared the blog earlier knowing I would be bouncing like a ball all day until 8 pm.  So today I am sharing another one of my recent quickie sheets and I hope you can find some use to it.  If not, it's ok too hee hee

Thank you for all the comments and emails, some of you were mentionning that you have been rather quiet about making cards because there were not too many ideas to get you going.  Well I am hoping that because Spring is coming (soon) that the thought of fresh air, new greeneries will bring more ideas to your crafting table.  I am getting more ideas as I go around the internet so I should be all set to make more cards and also finish some I had started and never had a chance to finish up and show you.  So given the time to do all that I will promptly show them to you.  I will be so happy to make more cards, when time is on my side.

Today I am feeling so good I could just, never mind, with my luck I would end up hurt or overdoing it again and get ill again hee hee.  But I feel tremendous just know that.  hee hee I Had to share this.

Are you all ready for your Valentine's Day?  If you do something for that special day I mean?  I know that I try to spread around the Valentine's Day mood throughout the year in many different ways so it doesn't feel like a specific day love has to be shown hee hee.  I love all ear round this is so much fun!

Another quickie sheet for you

Hi Friends

I hope everyone enjoyed the Superbowl Sunday game.  Here we are watching it later.  GO PACKERS GO!  It was a fun game to watch!  The Greenbay Packers WON!  Whooohooo!

Yesterday was a busy day for us we had to get some new equipment so that made my work area a little cleaner than normal hee hee.  I had to clean up the whole table corner my TV quit on me over the weekend how dare it, I said. hee hee but these things happens frequently but it couldn't wait until we get back no no. lol, sparing you the gory details we still have not finalized the new TV details as it is easy here to get something that will not work once we get home.  So it has to be looked after for the future.

Well, I am writing today to start for more quickies that has not been published by me yet.  So I have a great assortment of Vintage images that are not copyrighted since they are so old, but they are so very lovely that I had to decoupage them, you'll see for yourself when I post them.

So here is today's:

UPDATE to the photobucket!

I actually got reacquainted with Photobucket and I must say it has gained a lot of speed in the uploading department.  So I was quite pleased to see 62 photos taking less than 2 minutes to load.  So it was for the good things they made changes for.  So now that it is into the caffeinelady bucket here are the folders I have dropped all of them in.

Christmas/Winter 20, Angel/Fairy 3, Woman 5, Animal/graphics 2, Bird 1, Valentine/Wedding 18, Masculine 4, St-Patties 3, Flowers 2, Halloween 2, Miscellaneous 1, From babies to toddlers 1. 

I hope you get to find some you love to make cards with, until next addition, come back for the daily quickies

I am back!

Hi Friends

Sorry for this week of nothing LOL.  I was resting so I could be better sooner.  So now that I am back I can tell you a few things.  I will not change my photobuckets until End of March or end of April.  I may have some wonderful friend to do it for me.  First I will have to wait for her to return from a visit with family and I will give her at that time the photobucket to add everything back into one what will be better organized for you.  In the meantime thank you for your patience and as I heard most of you are already doing fine with what you have to do to get in.  So I am proud of all of you for baring with me on this issue.

This week it is Chinese New Year here.  So I had the pleasure to have my husband with me almost all week.  So it was nice to have him around, but when he returns to work the first day is always quite an adjustment in my schedule but we both go back to our normal schedule quickly though.

Today I have a quickie to share with you.  I hope you enjoy it and can make use of it.  As for the assortment of all the quickies since November 2010 it will be added to the caffeinelady photobucket very soon.  I will not give any date as I never know what happens from one day to the next here hee hee.
