Hi Friends
I am feeling so happy to have been able to sit here long enough to prepare two blogs back to back to let you enjoy what you have been asking me to share after my shopping extravaganza at the market. I wish I could all take you with me and enjoy such a nice place to find the silliest of item to the nicest and all at a reasonable price if you know to not wear your excitement on your facial expressions and ask for prices before showing you are interested. Well this is how I do it and it works at 85% of the time which is a good record for an Expat LOL. Not everyone is liking to work hard to bring the prices down but when you get the hang of it, you see the quick dollars you have saved are adding up quite nicely. So this is the pay out from all the time you try and get something for as low as you can possibly can. They love a good bargainer, they do. They also remember you LOL.
This elephant with another one a little taller are going to serve as side tables of our Mahjong electric table we purchased here. We needed something different to not only be practical for when we are playing but we also needed a place to set out tea cups without fearing damaging our table top.
This vase was a perfect size and color for what I already have to match so this one is a signature certified high quality vase I was happy to get at such a good price.
I love that it comes is such a pretty gift packaging box!
Magnolia set with golden details. Pictures are so not giving the sets justice as it is stunning to have in front of me. Very happy with those sets.
I have a special weakness for this set given that it was another great bargain and the poppies were calling my name I could not walk away hee hee. So because I got two sets being that the other one is the magnolia set you see on here, I paid $5 for each instead of $20 each at the beginning of my quest LOL
Not sure that you can see closely but it has a little texture to it that makes the sets so very pretty
I thought this cute jewelry box was really awesome as I bargained the price of the cabinet with it as well as some of the Opaline and Quartz semi precious stones he had at his store. I could NOT believe how much cheaper he was selling the strands of beads...
I had been wanting one of those so badly, now that I have one I am so on top of the world happy I finally found one I liked and for such a fine price. Sorry the picture is such a glow, I had a hard time taking a good shot of it being that it has been cloudy here for over a week and the only sunny day we had I was shopping which was our hottest day this year, lucky me :)
Hubby and I had planned on purchasing a nice chinaware for the kitchen as the one we had was 25 years old so it was time for something soft on the eyes and really elegant. I couldn't get a better price back home if I tried.
This is a very traditional Chinese instrument (erwo) not sure of the spelling yet but this is usually played for sad music but we have also seen them being played in parks with some people gathered around. The Pippa is another instrument that also looks closer to a guitar but it has 4 strings instead of 5. Also played today in their traditional musical orchestra.
For the last piece to share if you remember the piece I had shown you last that was a fruit bowl well, this plate on pedestal complement the bowl very well as a set. I am sure I will find a perfect place for those two items in my kitchen

I hope you have enjoyed my shares. I will perhaps have another go for little things I have not been able to have good prices for on all my visits so I will go back and seriously bargain for them. Should be interesting as some places they don't want to budge to more than 1$ LOL and I stubborn hee hee
Have a safe and happy weekend everyone!
