Hi Friends
I will go straight to the photo of the card:
Here is another example of the cards I made that are a touch different from one another. The two cards have similarities stamp wise but the paper makes the difference in the look of it. Look for the easy recipe below.
One of my favorite Gina K designs stamps is the flower circle I have colored with colored pencils with the help of some gamsol and paper stump. It does create some great results. I had in my stash some Easter color paper this one has velvet spots on it and the dotted pink paper, which was covered by a pink satin ribbon. The main card is white and then matted with a lovely Pink CS. I used the Spellbinder circle die cut around the flower and then again for the inner circle where I have the Happy Easter. That was stamped a second time and I had cut out the middle separate from the flower circle so I can play the dimensional trick on it with some pop up dots for more dimension. The first card on top is done the same way to the exception that I used my Swiss Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder on the Pink it was as simple as that. I just love the look of both even if the focal image is the same.
Have fun with your stamps, there are no limits to what ONE stamp can do for you. Coloring with different colors would make this card look totally different and you can make it so it also is fabulous for a Birthday card. Have fun, play, experiment, this is what this journey of card making is all about. Playing and see where it takes you!
Have a fun day, yeah! the weekend is almost here, yippee!
