Hi Friends
Well, this week is turning out to be another busy one, but fear not, I love'em all that way. Spring time gives me wings. So to show you what I have been up to here is another photo of a card I have made recently.
Today's card was made with a Gina K Design Flower stamp, and a Many thanks stamp from my stash. I used Black, white, red CS and pattern paper (stash). A Black satin ribbon Spellbinder tag die cut, before removing the paper from the cut and embossed die cut I used a sponge dauber to ink around the Many thanks in coordinated red, If I were to make more of this card I would do the same with the Flower in the Spellbinder Circle die cut in two sizes. Inking the edge would have been very nice also. Then I picked one of my Cheery Lynn Designs Doilies die cut with white CS to mat behind my circles. So card, aaded black matting, added pattern paper, I placed the ribbon so it would hide behind the black CS, then adhered the whole black and pattern paper section to the red card. Then proceeded to add the doilie and circles on to the card. The Many thanks over the black ribbon and voila.
Not knowing if there are any of you that have trouble getting clean cuts with your intricate die cuts, especially the Cheery Lynn Designs die products, remember that if you don't YET have the metal plate for the machine you are using, you should invest a little more than $10. that will change your die cut time in so much time saving. If you need to see a cool video on how he does the intricate cutting please go to his website www.cheerylynndesigns.com and scroll down to the one about this topic. He has many videos to watch including the newest collections he is always adding to the mix. But it is a nice lesson to guide you to better results. No designs are having me limited anymore. Enjoy!
Have a great day! Make it special...
