Hi Friends
We had a busy weekend as expected and have sanded our little hearts out. Not a fun thing to do but I was the one to hold the big shop vac to minimize the dust we were making LOL. You soon get a white face to scare any child walking around. Fortunately no children were scared in this past weekend project hee hee. Happy to say.
Well today I have another card to share with you so I hope you will enjoy it with the recipe for it. Apologies on the darker photos.
This one card is mainly done the same way as the second photo. The only difference is that I made a 2 dimentional frame to cover the edges of the stamped image. All on white CS. I also chosen 2 Copic pen to color the flower then used some Crystal effects to get this flower to stand out in the picture. I stamped a Thanks on white CS and cut around it and added some glitter called Stickles by Rangers.
This one, I made sure to use the "Stamp a ma jig tool" illustrated below. So I would position my stamped image leaving the same amount on each side of the card centered on the width. Then I added my mask or template made in a rectangular shape, this time I used the grey ink with a sponge dauber with again using circular motions starting from the outside of the template going into it but I didn't do the top of the template leaving this side light so I could stamp my sentiment using again the Stamp a ma jig tool.
Once you get the hang of this tool you will not want to go without it ever again. It is all about centering, positionning where YOU choose to stamp an image anywhere on a card. This tool always works with the square plastic you see under it. Simply position the blue tool with the pastic into the corner of the tool which ever side you are comfortable with (SEE BLACK ARROW IN PHOTO). Make sure it is square to the tool. Making sure nothing moves I usually prepare my stamp ahead of time so I don't move my tool. I ten stamp my image on the plastic using the corner as a guide. Then use the plastic to position the sentiment or image where exactly it will be needed on the card or label. Then once you have the spot, put the blue tool against the corner again like when you stamped it the first time. Then with the same stamp you will ink it first, REMOVE the plastic making sure the tool DO NOT MOVE. Then stamp the image using the corner of the tool, that will give you the image in the exact position you want it.
