Hi Friends
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Mine is really busy but I am having a good time. Today was a really nice day the temperatures reached near 70F in the sun I was out and about in my short sleeves. I had to roll down the window in my car to get some fresh cooler air, ahhhhhhhhhhh what a joy. If the weather could stay this way for much longer. But we take what is given and make the best of it until we are HOT and uncomfortable hee hee
Well, going back to the topic at hand I have a card to share so let's get to it shall we?
This card is very straight forward and was very pretty once finished with the burlap paper it looked as if it was real and all tucked in from under the card. The base was whisper white from SU, Chocolate mat piece and the burlap paper. I also used a gingham chocolate ribbon by SU. The stamp and Sentiment are both from Gina K Designs. I stamped both with SU Chocolate ink. Voila!
This other card is very similar to the exception of the background paper I made with some embossing ink and a stamp. I covered the card with the stamp and with a sponge, in a circular manner I applied some ink all over the piece of cardstock. It has left me with a subtle print which is very pretty since it is similar to the main focal image. Also pierced two small holes on each side of the flower stem to insert a ribbon called I beleive a false bow.
I hope you enjoyed today's cards. Keep on coming back I have many more cards to share. I can't wait to show you the card I made in many copies for my long time friends next week. I should post it around Thursday so don't miss it. I will also include the template I used to make that card. Before that I will display more of the cards I made lately, plenty to view. Feel free to comment on your way out and once again I thank you for dropping in to have a look. I love to have followers so sign up it's free!
Have a lovely day, make it great!
