Hi Friends,
I was missing in action, I know. Well, one morning last week I woke up with, I still don't know what it was. but, let's just call it PAIN deep in my neck all the way down to my shoulder blade so each move I would make would send me into spasm galore. Seemed nothing I would do would help it go away. So after a week of this nonsense I am finally back feeling much better and can drive my car again. Funny how sometimes we get up with some ailment and we have no clue where it all came from. But I'm almost as good as new now. *wink*
I just thought I would come and tell you about it, so there! I'm in the midst of making many cards. Oh something great happened this week. I went to my favorite store in town to show my latest flower cards as per discussed on a previous visit with the store owner Charlene. She loved my cards and offered me to be a guest teacher for the store. So I accepted. That was the great news of the week. I'm finishing up with my first card to teach in September. I will post it when I have the photo uploaded to my PC.
Our garden sections have been doing so well lately with all that wonderful rain we finally had here. It helps me not having to water and dead head flowers for almost 3 hours in the morning, so when I can skip a day, I'm happy. One thing I have learned the hard way this year is, never to plant sunflowers again. I love sunflowers but it has a way to hug the ground it sits onto, so much so, that it is nearly impossible to plant anything else in there the following few years. The roots are so tight there is no way you can pierce a hole in there unless you have an electric tool to break it down. If I plant again, I will pot them. One of them got as high as 17 feet high.
As soon as I have a card ready to post I will do so. A few more days and I should be ready to pick up where I left off. This was my chatter for the month LOL Unless something new comes up.
Have a fun weekend everyone!
