Hi Friends,
I meant to tell you last week that we had a MEGA thunder storm that seemed never ending. The storm kept coming and coming, all I could see was the water rising very close to our doors and made me very nervous. But in the end it was as if it knew to stop there to let the water sink into the ground for a bit. The street was looking like a white river rafting in shallow water. This was a real flash flood. We were served very well.
The monsoon is coming back this weekend so I am watching those clouds that says get your things done outside quickly LOL. You will not believe this, but, we found another water leak, yet again. This time it is under the cement slab where the pool equipment is. We are hoping the leak will be located at one of the two ends, less digging, that is best the scenario. We shall see.
Today's card was so much fun to make. I was in a hurry for this one, as I had forgotten to check the calendar for a few days and noticed it was August, LOL. Already????
QUESTION: Can you please tell me if when you click on my photos if you see the whole picture or just part of it. I have not changed my setting at all when I post cards on here, but I want to make sure you can all see a larger picture once right clicking on it. Only if you don't see the full picture, let me know in the comment box please. I have tried it myself and I see everything very well as it should be.
So here is what I was able to make quickly hoping that she will love it.
The paper used was from a pad of 6 X 6 pattern paper called "Dreamcatcher" gorgeous paper in there. SU CS white whisper base and SU Lavender.
The embossing folder is a new one I purchased called Lace from Goose Bumpz, I hope you can see it well. It is gorgeous.
Stamps, butterfly from stash as well as Sentiment from Penny Black. Script BG stamp from stash. Chalks to color the butterfly, liquid pearl for butterfly body,
Embossing powder (lavender from stash) and heat gun were used for the Sentiment and a SU paper oval punch. Spellbinder Circle, micron pen for butterfly antennas. 3D foam for butterfly
This is one card that just looking at it you get to see how it was made, that easy! But the focal image (the butterfly) was what I spent time on to make sure it draws your eyes to it. I hope you enjoyed this easy card and that it will inspire you to try your own rendition, this card was inspired by one of millions of cards on Pinterest. I have another similar card with the same butterfly to share soon.
Another garden photo. Geranium family. Stunning blooms, called Martha Washington geranium!
Thanks for stopping and looking before commenting :)
