Hi Friends,
Today's card is one I made over the weekend. It was one I had started on a few days prior to but when it came the time to assemble it, I wasn't too pleased with the color combination. So I had to make more flowers so it would all look like it was part of this card, making any sense? I hope so.
I have some Memory box dies in there, I have punched elements, some elegant crushed silk ribbon, a new EF (name of it is Heart Lattice EF-009, size A4) (a present), Marianne Designs die cut for the back of the flower base. White Bazzil CS and different pink CS to achieve the card and flowers. Stickles was applied to flowers and swirls.
Here it is:
I hope some of the pictures will show the glitter effect on it.
This crushed silk ribbon is such a pleasure to work with. The knot in the bow is not thick at all. It looks fluffy without being heavy. I don't encourage any of you to use a flame to seal the ends. It shrinks up then ends and looks terrible. Learned the hard way lol.
The sun was setting so I got darker pictures, part of nature sometimes.
The EF lattice with hearts is lovely and makes a card look so elegant...
A closer up of the flowers, small and bigger
Thanks for dropping by for a look, thank you for your comments and if you have suggestions it is always welcome. This is how we learn and I love learning always!
Have a wonderful day
