Hi Friends,
Here is another Christmas card for this year. This one was clean and simple as I wanted to make so many as I had picked my stamp way back last Summer. I had seen this stamp online and loved the simple look of it so I bought the set which is smaller than it looked when I fell in love with it. But did fit the bill for this year's card.
If it is still time for you to make cards, this could be made in the same way with different embossing folders and/or Die cuts. It is easy to get caught up with the same stamps and designs. Go out of your own box and make this card differently with your own personal touch to it. I promise you, it will look as lovely with different stamps! Sometimes all you need is just a simple design to let your imagination work magic for you.
Here's the card:
My White on White card
With all the classes I had to prepare this year I was still able to make a record amount of Christmas cards this year, kudos to me! the ones to send and ones to keep for next year. Like I had said it was a design I had thought of last July, once I found some time, I made 3 dozens of this one. It was fun!
The large oval was from an very elegant embossing folder I had never used before. It was leaving little holes passed the lace area so, I used a needle tool around the oval. Then I used some Spellbinder 2 sizes of the Labels Eighteen. Before mounting the two layers, I stamped this village image onto the smallest of the labels and added some colors, and stickles.
As you can see, I also scored 2 lines on each side, left and right to add more dimension to the simple white on white card.
I hope you enjoyed this card. It was a Quick and simple card for this year. I may start even earlier this coming year to make the Christmas cards for 2014. (But, I always say that, don't I?) I will try to make a variety and surprise you even more.
Have a fun day, make it one to remember in laughter!
