Hi Friends,
Well, as you know I had a class last week and I am reporting that it was great fun. There was so much material to cover in the 1 1/2 hour slot I was given that, we were lucky there was no more classes scheduled after mine so we took the rest of the time to finish.
I can't help but finding teaching classes amazing! It really energizes me, like nothing else. I am definitely doing something I love to do. Thanks to the ladies who are enjoying my cards, and my teaching, they make it so much fun as they are so encouraging me every step of the way. Girls you are fantastic, thank you so much!
This week was a really busy one for us, cleaning up, preparing to decorate for Christmas is always a busy week, inside and outside projects can really take up the biggest part of a weekend. We had a really cold front coming in so we decided to not decorate as much this year. We will make up for it next year I am sure. It still looks nice though. Yesterday after the snow melted, at sunset the water spots turned to ice and when Hubby went out to get the mail he fell on a patch of fresh ice and hurt himself. I could tell on his face when he came in that something wasn't right. Before you ask me, he is fine. He is bruised up, his two hands and behind took the shock. But I think he will be fine. I was happy it wasn't a serious fall as into breaking bones, it could have easily been serious. But he is safe thankfully.
So many projects in my hat, I have to pace myself and pick one at a time keeping the next one on the back of my mind, but I will share more cards soon. Too much to do and so little time it seems. I am back to hoping there were more than 24 hours each day. But, I am not complaining as I am really enjoying the juggling with my schedule.
A new computer and a new phone, I am all set now to push more work since my computer is not at a snail pace anymore. YEAH!
I made 36 Christmas cards in 2 days last week I had to send a bunch across the ponds. Some have started to arrive, I was shocked as it usually takes around 3 weeks at Christmas time. So that makes me too early, LOL. We just can't win with snail mail can we?
I am preparing a workshop on how to make lovely flowers from die cuts of different sizes. I am looking forward to it and will let you know how this went. I have to come up with a few Valentine's Day cards as well, always from my hat filled with "hoping to finish projects" so hang in there I will come back with more photos for you in a few days.
Sorry I was on the chatty side today, but felt like I had to say Hi and let you know all is well here. I am also a little slow with emails so please bare with my slow pace, it will return to normal soon.
Have a lovery weekend, will talk soon!
